Wait, isn't this the same guy who said the people that tell news reporters "I'll give to charity if I win" are just trying to get divine intervention? Nobody has a moral obligation if they won the lottery! It's their money, they can spend it how they choose!
Yeah Guru ..... lol I think Aston isn't following along with the rest of the class very well...

Aston lol I have no morals.
I believe morals are constructs that harm the universe and bind people up in all the false illusions that bind us from achiving perfection as a species and creating a beautiful Earth and universe.
I don't believe in ethics either.
Everything I do is for myself and that of those I love including my work on environmental issues. The Earth is my home and animals on the Earth are a part of ecosystems that help my home the Earth run properly...... My concern with saving the environment and those animals is purely a selfish one...... that of protecting a Planet I call home. I thought I made that clear to you before.
The Moral Question is to get people to really think about what they say in regards to who and what people should help with if they have money or means.... any kind of money or means.....
Actually I feel niether the Doctor nor the Lottery winner has any sort of obligation to help out in this respect........ However this question was posed so that people who live in the illusions of moral could really examine just what they think.
I'm kinda with you:
I have my own morals and my own ethics, they are basically things like don't mess with married women, don't mess with anyone under the age of 18, don't steal, don't commit crime: basically don't intentionally do things to hurt others, physically, mentally or financially. Don't drink and drive, etc. (although it is fun to screw with peoples' mentality at times..)
I don't mind funding a food bank or a homeless shelter, or a place for battered women to go, things like that, animal shelters, too. Little League baseball, kids' sports teams, things like that. Something to keep the kids occupied and off the streets, or at least SOME of the kids... some sort of musical 'shop'..;
I was watching a documentary on a Musician friend of mine - they were interviewing his mother. When the guy was a teen and just learning to play guitar, thay had a 'band' in his basement. On a friday night, a friend of the mother came over, heard all of the loud noise (alleged music) and said to the lady 'my god, how on earth can you stand this ?'. Her answer was genius: 'I know where MY kid is, where is yours ?'.

see those are my thoughts too. But I am aware within myself why I support things like this is because I want my home to be a better place for me and those I love. And only that reason.
I have no problems giving to a food bank..... but I don't give cash..... I give actual food that way I know that what is intended is actually happening and the cash isn't being taken by some jerk in the org....
Helping kids out with music and art...... yeah I do that so that I see or hear some new music or art..... it's for my own benefit really.
I understand this within myself and am okay with it.
Actually at times I believe that defined sets of morals more often than not really mess up the world.... just look at Ireland, The Middle East, Sri Lanka, East Timor.... etc etc etc etc.... even Nazi Germany..... all places where one group's defined Morals really messed up everything for others.
