So where do you draw the line ?
Let's say one of us wins the PB for 15 mill - 7 mill after taxes, that will give me 4 mill to live on, 3 mill to 'give away', so why you ?
Why you and not someone else ?
Guess what - you are not alone, there are probably 25-50 MILLION people in your shoes, but at least you have a job, and you live in a climate that doesn't freeze in the winter nor does it get to 105 degrees in the summer, so kwitcherbitchin and be thankful for what you DO have.
You need a large dose of 'reality check' - the fact you came on here and actually POSTED the 'poor woe is me' tale tells us a lot about you.

Yeah, "help" everyone and then not only have nothing left, but have huge tax debts as well. Not to mention what could happen to those that are "helped" at tax time as well.
As I said in previous topics, if I won "the big one" it would be awhile before I "helped" anyone and even then it'd be extremely limited. Call it greedy if you want but I call it good sense.

If you're making $28K a yr living in Arkansas, you probably living as good or better than half the LP members so don't expect them to feel sorry for you or anybody else rather than spend some of their hard earned money on lottery tickets and dream about winning a jackpot. I'll never understand where idiots like you get the ideas that other people owe you something because you can't afford everything you want in life.
If you're poor, get use to living like you're poor or get a better job, that's what I did.
Trying to understand them will just make your head hurt.

I wish. Arkansas gets 6 votes in the electoral college, which is about 1 for every 450,000 residents. In NY we get about 1 vote for every 630,000 people, making his presidential vote worth about 40% more than mine. If he moves to one of the states with only 3 votes his vote could be worth about 3 votes in NY (or a handful of other states with large populations).

Welcome to the boards. Pardon some folks manners as they take the negative route in responding.
Firstly its not uncommon to be caught up in the *They are richer-so give to the lesser folks* mentality when one is going thru hard times. I applaud you for your truthful expression of frustration. Its not for us to judge your feelings . They are what they are. Ignore folks who just toss antedotes of "Get a better job" or "deal with it "mentality. As a single parent who Im sure is doing the best you can under the circumstances, cut yourself a break. This site really is beneficial for each who desires to learn methods of picking, read some hot topics, or just sit back and gather some insight into the world of lottery play.
Together we create a community that does give, just not in a monetary way but a richer way. WE give tips on play methods or encouragement when needed.
So welcome and hope you find this site resourceful. Good day to you.

See my signature below. Having said that, a smart thing for big lotto winners to do is donate a fair portion to various charities. Makes dealing with the dreaded tax portion a lot easier.

you are very well blessed to have that little girl thank God for both good health and remember life is short, cherished the time you have.a can of pork and beans is a buffet in north korea or china.to be able to see and walk, and able to smell the roses and see all gods splendors is more peace then most rich people enjoy.teach your child all the things to be thankfull for and in your old age she will bring you more happiness then riches could ever bring.
