  What Changes Do You Expect With Lottery In 2008?

  a matrix change in powerball or mega millions or maybe another state changing to the dreaded RNG?

  Call me an optimist, but those things, the matrix changes and new RNG's, I don't think will happen in 2008.

  It would be nice if in 2008 lotteries start switching back to ball drawing.

  I don't think Megamillions will make any changes but won't have a 300+ pot this year. Powerball might change this summer. Sales for Powerball only double's it's baseline at the $140M mark. Euromillions needs to add more countries and change but I doubt Camelot is up to it.

  I expect, in 2008, I will win alot of money from one of the jackpot games., which for me, will be a big change! 

   

  No, really, I don't expect to see any more changes in the matrix's this year.

  That was going to be my answer!  LOL   You beat me to it, Spy! 

  I hope FL doesn't add any more games.  I wouldn't mind if they dropped the MegaMoney, however, and substituted some kind of little lotto type game like a 6/39 or even a 6/42 game. There were more winners when Lotto was 6/49 (now 6/53) but not as many rollovers.

  I think they will continue to sell raffle tickets since they've been very successful and sold out again on Christmas & July 4.

  I wonder if they'll have a $50 scratch ticket.  Right now the most expensive ticket is $20 AFAIK.   I don't think that would be a good idea however.  I think the lottery should be for everyone and that's too much money for most people to spend on one ticket.  $20 is high enough. 

  PB or MM won't be approved in FL IMHO.  It's already successful without them. Personally, I don't want the current jackpots to get smaller and that's what will happen.  Right now tax reform to save homes in FL is #1 along with affordable health insurance, stopping crime, etc.

  I predict that someone will invent a tracking system that will find all the people who don't claim tickets. LOL  Wonder if they can make a ticket that starts turning blue after 90 days?  Or a ticket that starts to get hot in your wallet?  Talking tickets?

  I actually hope that Idaho adds more games. I would like to see a Pick 4 game or a Pick 5 game this year or sometime in the near future. I also hope they get rid of the RNG for our current games (Pick 3, Wild Card 2 and Hot Lotto) but I don't see that happening.

  A friend mentioned to me that he doesn't have a lot of choices either.  We have Cash-3, Play-4, Fantasy-5 (with EZ match for an extra dollar) and MegaMoney (which is 4/44 and 1/22) and 6/53 Lotto plus a lot of scratch games and the raffles twice a year.   Think I got 'em all!
