  9/17/08    4, 19, 29, 38, 39

  9/2/08      4, 8, 29, 38, 39

   

    There was also “3 repeat” from 4 draws back (29,38,39 from 9/13) and the 38,39 recurred 4x as a pair.  Funny enough, I ran a test the last time “4 repeats” happened in early ‘05, and it was about a 1/1000 event…. about that many draws til it happened again. 

   

  Has anyone run similar tests or seen similar frequencies on other states P5?

  I ran a check for match4s within the previous 15 drawings for Ohio Rolling Cash5 and found it had happened once a year since the game begin 10/04/04.

  Thanks very much for the Ohio info RJOH.  It looks like the Ohio data set is way more interesting.  I’d venture a guess that Ohio uses computer generated (ie pseudo-random) draws with repeats like that.

  Actually, Ohio Rolling Cash 5 uses a lottery ball machine.
