  UPDATE!

  I called the Ohio Lottery HQ the next day and told them what happened. They were very nice to me. They immediately called the store where I purchased the ticket and talked to the owner/manager of the store while I was still on the phone line. They told me to go back to the store and collect my $2.00.

  When I arrived at the store, I handed my signed ticket to the owner/manager and he gave me my $2.00. He told me the clerk had accidentally punched in the wrong button on the terminal. I hope he was telling me the truth because I felt as if that clerk took my $2.00 winning. Anyway, I am happy now that I got my winning. Beware of those store clerks out there.

  Really? You honestly think that a clerk is going to risk their job and whatever else over two measly bucks? It was clearly a mistake. I've had a store employee screw up with me too with a $7 win, they didn't mean to do it they just screwed up while scanning the ticket. A bit different situation but there was no plot to take my seven bucks.

  It's possible that it was a mistake but that was the second time that happened at the same store with 2 different clerks. I guess I should start cashing my tickets elsewhere.

  well now they know you are onto them they wont steal your $2 any more. a good plan is ot always know what the ticket won before you go to the store. then if it doesnt pay out , kick up hell until they do pay you.
