Just out of curiosity, does anyone know which states are the most difficult to win Pick 3/4 in?
For example, South Carolina in a HARD STATE to HIT in playing Pick 3/4. Perhaps we should put together alist of the tough states vs. the easier states to Win PICK 3/4. I know it depends on which Pick 3/4Lottery SYSTEM you are using to play in a particular state. South Carolina seems to be a tough state no matter what system you use.
For example: PICK 3
STATE:TOUGH vs. FAIRSYSTEM USED
S.C. X Doesn't matter
N.C. X F17 or TTT or VTRACS
G.A. X F17 or VTRACS
If anyone would like to add to this list, please feel free to do so.
Such a list seems to help, if you are playing online lottery. Stay away from the really TOUGH STATES, until you can find the right consistent lottery system to use monthly, for that particular state. Or just play online in the EASIER STATES where the various systems used seem to work the best.

The states you listed use the same format so how can it be tougher (or easier) to pick 1 out of 1000 or 1 out 10,000 in any of them?
If you're talking about getting more for your buck then you could compare them by payoffs, but since they all pay $500 and $5000 for a straight win, you're back to square one. Some lotteries pay $83 and $166 for pick-3 boxed wins while others only pay $80 and $160 so it's obvious the higher payoff games would be "more fair". Kentucky pays $600 for a straight win and $100 and $200 for box wins which is the fairest in the land.

The list would only apply to the system being used and unless you based it on every possible system in every lottery, the list would be useless. Every lottery says their drawings are random, any one of 1000 or 10,000 combinations can be drawn, and if your system stops working, doesn't that prove it?

We don't have pick 4 here, but I think Idahos pick 3 is really hard to win. But that's because it's computerized and I don't think they are very honest about what goes on behind closed doors.
