Yeah I was just having fun with it, I was not taking it seriously but I'm bored so I might try it again for Wednesday. If anything it does reduce the number set significantly and if you got lucky and it worked you should make a little money. Typically using my own system I can find 5 strong numbers that I'm going to play no matter what so I was hoping to combine them with the anti-number set for BAMMO (when anti-matter meets matter) JACKPOT !!!
The breakdown is:
Store 1: had 6 hits
Store 2: had 1 hit
Store 3: had 4 hits
Store 4: had 2 hits
So maybe I will buy only from Store 2 if I do QP's again. I rarely buy tickets from store 4, I just don't care for the people that work there, and I usually but my tickets from Store 2 because it is less busy. But 99% of the time I'm playing my own numbers so I always go to the less busy store to purchase tickets which is Store 2.
So for the sake of argument lets say Store 2 always give dud QP's. I want to purchase 20 QP's or 80 numbers to try and filter out with. How should I buy my 20 QP's.
a) Should I ask clerk for 20 QP's and have them punch it in so they are all generated at once.
b) Should I fill out 4 Powerball slips and have them run them through card reader. In this case there will probably be a 10-15 second pause between each card-read.

MegaMillions QP's run about the same way.
If you buy a $5 QP, based on my experience, (more times than not) you will get anywhere from 2-4 numbers in the winning set. Also depends on the size of the jackpot.
If your going for the anti-numbers just buy 1 quickpick. More times than not, you won't have any winning numbers.
I tried to validate this hypothesis (using all MM states) a couple of weeks ago but I didn't have enough volunteer participants to come to a resonable conslusion.

i think you're in a huge state,so you have a larger turnover of numbers.i don't think all the quickpiks in all states are linked by rng do you?
I don't really want to start a hornet's nest discussion. You can read my prior posts if you want to.
Believe / Ignore what you want to. In short, I believe (MM states / PB states) lottery terminals are linked to a cental computer which has the software on it to do many thousands of things. If I was to suggest some of those things, I would get body slammed on this thread. If you really want to know how it works, talk to the security division of the software vendors that drive most of these lotteries.
