  Checked it out and u r correct. It is a gem. I tested it against TX numbers and had I tried this last week. 12-01-09 to 12-05-09, I would've had 7 hits. Not bad. I'll have to mark this link as a favorite and test it against all of the TX history to see exactly how strong this method is. Thanks for the link.

  I didn't test this myself (trust WIN D)...looks like you could do something with this.

  perdue how do you backtest what is the least amount of days that i should back test to find pairs for the upcoming week is there a shorthand to this?

  Interesting idea !  I looked at three of the states that I track and the 10 hottest pairs for each are listed below, the percentage of hits for each is listed at the bottom, this percentages includes doubles:

  Thanks everyone and a special thanks to WinD for the Perfect Pairs (PP) observation.

  Winsumloosesum ( I love that name!) is right there too in the thread with a new chart and an additional observation. These two are like the Holmes and Watson, the Batman and Robin, the Woodward and Bernstein of investigative numbering. Both have made some awesome contributions and continue to do so here at LP. Thanks guys!

  Back testing can be as simple as taking some graph paper, listing some drawings and notating PP next to the draws that are perfect pairs.

  Hey Bluegrass, looks like each of the ten pairs you listed has only one PP, that would mean 90% of the hot pairs drawn, Exclude a PP.

  Pretty cool!

  I went back a week. I looked at both day and night drawings. I intend to look at every drawing in the TX pick3 lotto to see how often each of these pairs hit. When time permits I intend to see how many times all 100 pairs have hit. I say 100 pairs because I will be viewing each pair in the order it occurs. EX: 36-63 are the same but I want to know how many times 36 occurred and how many times 63 occurred, not just how many times the number pair of 36 occurred. I will also be testing to see what pair has a tendency to hit the most during the week, on the day drawing, on the night drawing, on a particular day of the week, etc......

  I have two Pick 3 notebooks. In the first notebook is the complete listing of all of the TX Pick 3 drawings from 10-25-1993 to present. In the other notebook I took those pick3 numbers and converted them into vtrac. I call them my sums books. I put the information onto graph paper because I find it easier to line up.

  I do this on paper because I find it easier to read it on paper at times. I only write on one side of the paper and I put each sheet into sheet protectors. I also write this in ink so that it doesn't fade. 

  EX: January 2004

  D= Day drawing    .  = Monday

   I also have this information in my lottery tracking software. So I can sort it in the various ways mentioned above. I am in the process of entering the pick 3 vtrac and Pick 4 and pick 4 vtrac into my software so I'll have the various info at my fingertips for these games.

  Bottom Line: I want to know what pair I can realistically expect to hit and how often should I expect it to occur.

  When I convert my numbers to vtrac I use the program created by DiamondPalace called Pick 3 Vtrac Converter. All I have to do is input the pick 3 numbers and they are converted into vtrac. Super program!!!

  I found one of Win D's ystem called the Magnificent 7. I use this system on my Kansas thread I hits every now and then. The concept is to leave out the 3 numbers from the previous draw. I will use an random example. 148 is what you leave out. Then you wheel the remaining 7 0235679
