o man.... so just came back with dirty finger/thumb and a empty wallet. i had around $400 in my wallet and now it has become the new york state lottery money. spent about 70% of that on the $20 ''$500,000,000 extravaganza'' tickets. bought like 10 tickets 1 after another and finally only got a $20 win... (crap just got my dirty hands on my white macbook, great......) what a great day. anyway its time i realize i am too addicted. this is even worse then drugs. i should just use the money and hit the casinos, or give up all gambling. winning is great but losing a lot is the worst.
there are times when i have bought half the roll of the $5 tickets ($250), half which is 50 tickets and only won around half back. from my experience of spending this much on instant tickets so far, its true the corner numbers of each tickets doesnt matter. there will always be alot more loser tickets then winners. theres a lot to think about when wanting to win the jackpot and higher prizes. if they are even shipped out or still sitting in a storage location, if there is even a chance it will arrive in your area, out of the many rolls each lottery retailer have per game/ if that roll is even being sold when your buying, are you even lucky enough to buy that ticket out of the roll, etc.
i am probably down at least somewhere around $10,000 for the past 6-7months i have been playing scratch tickets few times a week. thats a lot of pain right there. from now on if i ever buy any lottery tickets, only 1,2, or 3 at most and bring it home.
ONLY play for fun, if your playing to win... then i hope you have the money for it. my mind and imagination is weak against the new york lottery advertisement when i first picked up the coin on my first scratch ticket. imagination sometimes is a bad thing....
