I can't believe it. I play at the store sometimes. They sell alot of tickets and they hang them up in the store. I few years ago they sold 2 Shamrock winning tickets for $30,000. Congrats to the local winner.

Was doing some cleaning today, and decided to box up my 2013 tickets and put them in the attic, as I was going through them, I pulled out the 100x tickets to enter in the second chance. I was pretty shocked, I have 237 of those tickets and have won 1 $500 ticket. I have probably thrown away 30 or 40 more, that 1 $500 ticket cost me over 6k, to win. Plus all the other losers that I have, its pretty unreal.

biggest hit 10k, Jubilee, 5K Miami Heat, 2K Emerald 8s, 1k jubilee, 1k GRT, 1k heat wave, multiple 500's

good luck in the chase 2013 wins, maybe 4 500's

Hey LONERANGER - don't feel bad - I have around 400 plus 100X losing tickets - wondering if I should spend the time entering them in the 2nd drawing - would you do all in one drawing or spread 'em out for the three ??

im going to try go about half for each drawing, thought about all for one, but just dont know if i can make the time to get em done.

Looking back at all the losers vs the winners really makes scratch you head (no pun intended).

I know that I've always took a beating when it comes to gambling, save one or two instances. I went

to a gun raffel a few weeks ago with my family and we ended up cashing in about $1200 worth of strip

ticket winners. Profited about $700 total. Not bad, I came with $30 and left with almost $300 so I was

happy. Plus I had a lot of good food and free beer. There is another one coming up this sunday, and

I hope to have similar luck.

On the lottery side of things I just checked about $30 worth of power ball, mega millions and match 6 tickets.

Not only did I lose on every ticket, but on most tickets I didn't even match a single number. I'm all but done

with the lottery but I will continue to play that jackpot games. The dream of hitting it big is worth a few bucks

every week.

Today my mom and I went over to Orange Springs, a little town on the corner of Marion County Route 21 and Hwy 318/315. The first place we went to (Orange Springs Market Pure Station) didn't have and $20 Monopoly or any of the 5X or 10X games my mom plays. She bought 2 $2 Monopoly's (#138/139) Both won for $2 and $4, respectively.

We then went to the other retailer in the town, a Kangaroo/Citgo. I bought 1 FF (#005) and 2 $20 Monopolies, 1 from each roll (#010 and #025), while my mom bought a Bingo Gold #088.

The Bingo Gold was a loser. On my FF #005 and $20 Monop #010, they were even money winners, which I know shouldn't irritate me since a win is a win, but recently I've been on a 6 ticket winning streak with the $20/$25 tickets and they only seem to be producing even money winners.

The last ticket didn't look good. All the "Winning Numbers" had a 3 in them and enough gaps to fill in losing numbers and one-offs just like the FL Lottery likes to do. I lost interest by the time I got to the last space which turned out to be a Free Parking Symbol!, the first one I've ever come across. I was dreaming of high amounts, but only the $10 was underneath it, but still, I made $30 for the day and finally got a winner above the ticket price.

Yes, enter them in second chance. Maybe spread them out over the drawings.

Also, entering them in the second chance drawing will eliminate the possibility that you may have overlooked a winner as the second chance software will not allow a winning entry to be successfully entered.

This brings up an interesting point about entering a lot of second chance scratch tickets. There should be a way to buy an inexpensive USB code scanner or OCR scanner and scan either the barcodes or the actual digits. It would make it a whole lot easier than typing all the numbers in manually. Scanning the barcode would work if it contains the full ticket number needed to be entered...

Hey skeptic do you still have a garage full of tickets ? Some guy contacted me, I dont know how ??? Maybe Osama at Sunoco gave him my contact info... Said he needed $250K worth of losing tickets

Taxes. If you hit $600+(here in PA at least), you have to pay taxes. However if you win $1K and show $1k worth of losses, you don't have to pay taxes on it. That is why people will save them for a calendar year and the reason I found tickets from 1978-1980 in my grandmom's attic. She put them up there and never threw them away.

James I was looking at your sig line, do you have a winner of $500 or up for 2014? I wonder if it's more

theraputic///realistic to list losses instead of wins? $250k...lol

PA isn't producing too many big winners lately in my area.

Lots of $100's but that's not what I'm looking for...5 $20's is $100 and if I buy 5 $20's from different places

and win another $100 or $200.....so what...No joy in that game.

Everyone wants the top prize and so do I. This time I want $100k or up. Good luck with what you buy.

got10 winning #s out of 15. thought this will be good.

turns out all 10 #s had $2 so got $20.

i want to be a millionaire a second time!
