PLEASE...people of the USA cry for this 25 cents Powerball....think of the lowerclass and below lowerclass...

The Forex trades: 1.6 Trillion dollars EVERY day, that´s more than the GDP of the Carribbean Central America, COMBINED. Enough to feed every crook out there for centuries...To all Geniuses & Powers Countries of the World the Planet needs breakthroughs in all Medicine, Veterinary, Biology related fields, Psychology, Population Psychology/Sociology..They need to genetically ingeneer new plants species/types to give more variety of plants and thus have more resources for combating diseases¨

Reminds me of the cons against creating a lottery when the initiatives where placed on the state ballets. They said "poor people" would spend their last dollar gambling on the lottery instead of buying food. The 50 cent tickets were a compromise and I doubt we'll ever see quarter tickets. Many lotto games started out as 50 cents a line but they evolved to a buck and now PB is going to 2 bucks a ticket.

The trend seems to be for higher priced tickets.

As lottery tickets get more expensive and games like PowerBall start charging $2 a line, poor folks will just have to decide whether to buy lottery tickets or a $5 per pack cigarettes and six packs with their entertainment dollars especially if they are having a hard time making ends meet.

I'm sure if Captain Ding Dong gets a second term we'll be buying their share of $2 lottery tickets for them too.

Until, of course, the whole house of cards collapses like Greece has and we have civil unrest and riots in the streets like they are now over there.

Eventually you run out of other people's money to give to the ones who don't want to work.

And that's when they really go berserk.

I thought most "poor" people just grabbed from the "free" food stamp and welfare handout bag anyway, which pretty much funds their lottery and cigarrette addiction nonetheless.

Even this rise to the $2 powerball probably wont make them flinch.

a .25 game would be a JOKE for the 'poor' people.

The flaw in your logic is you think people will walk into a store and say '.25 on #14 for the win' and that's all, but in reality people would walk in and play a .25 game 8-12-16+ times.

You also fail to specify what a .25 'win' would bring: maybe $1. Yeah, that'll go far in today's world.

Amd I'm STILL trying to figure out what drugs you are on..

Just the same way a: $1 dollar ticket Powerball reaches: $300 Million every 3 or 4 months, the 25 cents Powerball should reach: $75 Million dollars every 3 or 4 months...Thats the same amount that Italy Superena Lotto reaches sometimes...I think the Biggest jackpot it reached was: $125 Million dollars or $110 Million so i read or something like that...

California Super Lotto Plus can exist and a 25 cents Powerball can not...CA super lotto plus dont even reach $75 Million....

25% of $300 Million is $75 Million dollars...

What do you propose the retailers be paid for selling 25¢ PB ticket? They now get 5-6¢ to sell a dollar ticket. There come a point where if people are so poor they can't afford a dollar lottery ticket, they shouldn't play.

There are a segment of any countries population that do not make as much as you do...Example: teenagers, the older elderly, homeless/vagabonds, a woman makes 30% or more less than a MANNNN, MINOOORRITTIES might make like 40% less than the majority, There is like AT LEAST 5 million Americans with debt, disabled people paycheck ALLLSOO make like: 30% less than everyone else, 50% of the USA is open country side and people in the country side paycheck make: 30% to 40% less than everyone else, right now there is like at least: 8 Million people out of work or whatever the number is, like: 25% of the USA population jobs makes less than: $30,000 a year, ect, ect...You add them all up and they make like: 60 Million to 80 Million people at least...The 25 cents Powerball could target those people...

i forgot what Recession...

if they wanted they could partner up with Canada and make it a USA-CANADA 25 cents Powerball...They too have such groups...

also if you make: $50,000 a year and you have 4 or 5 kids you are not making: $50,000 a year but technically more like: $37,000 a year...thats another group you can throw in there...

You might make like: $50,000 a year but your house might cost like: $650,000 or $700,000 so you are not making: $50,000 a year but technically more like: $37,000 a year...thats another group you can throw in there...

My point exactly, lotteries are business for making money for the states not social programs for the poor. Who cares if the poor, teenagers, the homeless and etc. can't afford to gamble?

they will STILL be making money, not as much as $1 but they will still make it...IS STILL MONEY....just that the lottery i think wants to make Grandiose, lofty amount of money...Is still money is still in the millions that they will make...When the lottery gets to: $75 Million every 3 months that will be: $75 Million to the winner and another: $75 Million to the state/country....

isnt money WELCOMEDDD BY THE STATE LOTTERY or only certain amounts/sums of money is welcomed by the state lottery...

this is like the following scenario...lets say you have $100 Million dollars in the bank and you are a billionaire and you decide to place it in the bank for 3 years because you are not using it...then someone approaches you and tells you that you can make: $10 Million dollars out of it earn interest for the 3 years that is going to be in the bank and you say: No because you dont need any money and the amount is not to your standards....is very similar to this...and the money is still in the bank not earning interests....

it doesnt make sense...
