  A guy on Pawn Stars tonight had a lottery ticket from 1768 signed by George Washington. The ticket number was 359.

  Rick on Pawn stars knows a lot about a lot of things and mentioned that sometimes people back then didn't want their names on lottery tickets because not all lotteries were trusted and sometimes the winners had been determined in advance.

  He called in one of the experts he knows to verify the ticket and signature, as he wondered why paper that old was in great condition (it was sealed). The expert mentioned that since the tickegt had number 359 on the right and left parts of the ticket it had never been given out. He said bazck then the number was torn off and then matched up when the winner was drawn.

  This particular lottery was being used by Washington to fund a mountain road. The show mentioned that at that time lotteries were used to build bridges, fund hospitals, and other things. Lotteries also helped fund Harvard and Yale.

  Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

  hav'nt bought 3 or 4 game in decades.

  The main dude from Pawn Stars just wrote a book. I read it, then watched the show.

  The book will blow your mind about what he's gone through with life. Very powerful.
