I figured out a way to quicky update any Pick 3 or Pick 4 database for an old program called Lightning Bolt 99. I beleive the software goes back to 1999. Not sure when it became "abandonware". None of the update links work anymore.
I created 2 Excel files using Excel 2002. One for Pick 3 and one for Pick 4.
Here are the download links to the zip files:

The way I created the "db' (database) files is using Excel 2002 and Access 2002. If you have both of these great, or if you have Excel 2007 and Access 2007, I beleive this will work also. This will NOT work using Access 2010.
If you are a registered user of Lightning Bolt 99 and would like a free "db" (database) file for your state let me know and I will create one FREE of charge.

I would like to know if anyone recalls if there was a maximum number of drawings that Lightning Bolt 99 can use.
In addition, I would also like to mention that since I installed Lightning Bolt 99 in Windows 7 C: drive and NOT the Programs default folder. I ran into "access denied" pop-ups using Lightning Bolt 99. The fix for this is following the instructions in the following pdf's. These are actual instructions from Microsoft that I followed.

If you are running Windows 7 / 64 Bit Lighning Bolt 99 will NOT work.
I would be interested in any Strategies or tips using Lightning Bolt 99.
Thanks!!
