Okay, I'm going to hopefully shed some light on what to do on specific types of combinations. Every 3-digit combination will, of course, produce a sum but, there are also what I refer to as "sub-sums". These are what most players here simply call pairs but, those pairs are very significant in terms of what's likely to happen in the next draw. There are only (2) types of combinations...mixed and straight odd/straight even. Every mixed combo will have either (2) odds and an even, or, (2) evens and an odd. This type of combo will have either (2) odd "sub-sums", or, (2) even "sub-sums" and one of those sums changes everytime.
Example: 2-9-5. The format is Even-Odd-Odd and the total sum is (16). However, if we look at this in two parts, we'll find that there are (2) odd "sub-sums" found by adding together positions "A" and "B" then "A" and "C". Those sums are (11) and (7) which are both Odd sums. In the next draw, one of those odd "sub-sums" will change into an even one. Note: Any (2) mixed digits will always produce an odd sum just as any two "like" digits (2-4 or 1-7) will produce even sums.
In my opinion, it's better to play (1) type of sum on a mixed combo because you have (2) chances to actually hit if you focus on what must happen. The same applies for an all odd/all even combo...one of those even "sub-sums" must change into an odd sub-sum...which is a mixed pair.
Example: 2-9-5 Midday
1-7-4 Night
The AB sum went from (11) to (8) and the AC sum went from (7) to (6). Also, E-E-O went to O-O-E. This is just an example but, it applies to every single draw...and it works. Sometimes, there is variance from the pre-draws which will produce the same things in the same positions for (2) draws. This is why I always say that being patient, and, waiting for the change is the best way to play and win. Hope this helps and I'm happy to assist if someone struggles with it. It's very simple, and, in lamens terms though.
