Hi Guys & Gals
I would like to wish every the best, Merry Christmas all
A little something that I hope makes you laugh.
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
I scattered my play slips for Santa fill out.
My stockings I filled in hopes he would see,
and I placed a few more round under the tree.
The mice they all left they had no where to go
I had stuffed a few more in all the mouse holes.
With a gallon of milk and cookies put out,
I made one more pass thinking something left out.
Oh, I exclaimed I have one task to do
I sharpened some pencils and not just a few.
I placed them all neatly, so easy to see
why take any chances on this Christmas eve?
All snug in my bed and covers pulled high,
with everything done I let out a sigh.
It was just about then I heard what it seemed,
I can't say for sure it might been a dream
The jingle of bells atop of my roof and 8 tiny reindeer
but only their hoofs.
My hopes then so heightened as I heard all his glee
but somehow it sounded, was he was laughing at me?
It was round about then I musta passed out
cause the next thing I heard was his jolly old shout.
I rand down the stairs so happy to see
what I imagined would most likely be.
The cookies all gone except a few crums
where there they did lay I saw only one,
It looked I was sure, the size was just right
but I have to admit there was not that much light.
I hurried on over bursting inside
what seemed like an hour but just a few strides,
I seen all the numbers and first I must say
Oh what a wonderful, great Christmas day.....
It was then that it happened, something strange did appear
I felt kind of faint but I had to be clear.
I rubbed my eyes again and again
I thought to my self this must be a sin.
For there to the right in plain sight to see
the most horrible thing ever happened to me.
For there in that place my dreams disappeared,
Screw that old man and all his rain deer.
A more worthless gift, no one ever received
A more worthless gift then was given to me
For there to the right in bold printed ink
was the thing that did cause the ticket to stink.
I fell to my knees in crackling pain
with very few words I made it real plain
He best not show up or come around here
and even more so if he loves his reindeer.
I think that you all have figured it out
I think that most should not have a doubt.
The ticket he left, his one gift to me
was nothing more than a Quick-Pick pick-3.
