I had high hopes of coming here with a nice post to show off today, but alas, those hopes were dashed.
Made a pilgrimage to Panama City this morning. There were five books of $200MS on the list as being in that area, but only one book actually was. It was active and had 48 tickets left. Totally murdered me too. $105 back on all of them.
I also found 18 tickets of $10 Holiday Gifts at a little store down there with a book number around 33k. Bought those, got beat down.
Also found a few stores with Super Millions tickets. Bought some, pretty average returns. Nothing worth taking a pic of.
Not having a list for Power 8's I did make a number of stops on the trip looking for them and can say that those things are just about nowhere. Not feeling up to a trip to AK's in Gainesville, so, good luck to anyone who heads there. They seem to have pretty much all the prime games right now.

Went to Tampa/StPete/Sarasota today ... tried to hit stores with 50x and I found stores (from the lists) that had the worst selection of tickets I have ever seen
Did manage to finally get an 8 on electric 8's,find some fab 4's, and a $15 win on $1 ticket ... Circle K has a bigger selection than I found in all the stores today :-(

Sorry to hear about the horrible return on that 200MS book. Wow, 48 tickets with only $105 book? Sounds like you encountered a similar book as myself, and comparable to the ones Gators found yesterday. That game either seems to have alot of cold books out there, enough to make any scratch addict want to quit.
I'm guessing the Power 8's ticket is probably close to being sold out, probably in the 90+ % percent sold range with it being sold primarily at district offices, and places like Ak Kwik.
Wishing you best of luck on your VR work as well. That sounds interesting.

Add me to the 200MS beating list. (Jacksonville Rd CR200A & NW 95th)
I hit up Anthony Food Mart tonight based on Dracos report that they had a 200MS roll. I can also confirm that although I thought there was no more 50X there after I bought the last 5 last week they had another roll of that going on at number 11.
The 200MS was on number 29. It was in the slot that I had bought the last 5 from 50X last Sunday. I went ahead and played the roll out getting 1s and 2s at a time just reinvesting the winnings since I don't like to buy in bulk up front. The roll was meh then went cold at the end but seemed to be in line with the odds so I can't complain. But with the number of books dwindling where are the $500 and up large amount of remaining winners at?
Roll Number - 548,846 - This is the highest number I've seen so far. Dracos I think scratched one off in the 530,000s. Given this and the fact there should be a grand prize every 23,000 rolls, the 2 remaining jackpots might still be out there.
29-31 Loser
32 - $10
33 - Loser
34 - $10
35-37 Loser
38 - $15
39-41 Loser
42: $15
43-45 Loser
46: $20 (Matched 4 Numbers was hoping for more)
47-48: Loser
49: $40 (Matched 8 Numbers all with $5.00 under it. Really??)
50: Loser
51: $20
52: Loser
53: $10
54-59: Loserville (was hoping something would be in there good at the end of the roll)
Total Cost: $300 (used a WoF $10 win from yesterday to fund purchase of number 29)
Winnings: $140
Net Loss: -$160
Where is EMT Adam? Can he please just buy all of these up so we can all be done with these horrible scratch games? lol

Hey guys. Nothing exciting to report. Spent the weekend with my daughter having some fun.
As for buying a certain game out, I wouldnt be opposed to doing it, within reason. I mean, If I were to invest say.... $18,000 buying up the last 30 books of a $10 game, and that game had 1-2 top prizes remaining, why not? The biggest issue with that is logistics. It would be near impossible to get to all of them as they are scattered about the state.. This isnt Rhode Island that we are talking about.
If anyone has a logical way to do so, and know the ticket to do it on, im all ears. =)

Hey, glad you've been spending time with the fan. What was your dad's reaction when you gave him the KR ticket? :) What is your family saying about your crazy luck?
In terms of $10 games short in supply, the ones many of us have been chasing are:
$10 Holiday Gifts - ( You already hit 1/2 of the big one on this so the prospects of a second jackpot is questionable, but not impossible.) This game is fairly scattered across the state so it would probably be the most annoying to buy out. There are "lower books" out there in the 17k - 60k range. I scratched a book in the 17k number the other day, one in the 24k, and one in the 49k). AK Kwik in Gainesville has 20 books of this game in stock, 10 of which are lower distribution numbers.
$10- 200 Million Spectacular - This game is in extremely short supply, and really there's probably only 2-3 cities to hit. The biggest concentration of this game is in Gainesville, FL at AK Kwik (store has 10 books of this game in stock).
$10 - 50X The Cash - AK Kwik has 10-20 (likely closer to 20) books of this game, and there's a couple other places in Gainesville with some books. Jacksonville District office also has 8-10 books of this game as well. This is 20 books roughly an hour and half away from each other. 3 Jackpot prizes remaining makes this probably the most promising, especially considering it came out in 2014.
Realistically, a road trip for you would take 10-12 hrs. If you were to buy out one of these $10 games, the 200MS or 50X would probably be the easiest simply because the highest concentration of them are in one central location (Gainesville AK Kwik, couple of other Gainesville food marts, and Jacksonville District office).
If you're seriously considering this, I'd email each of the lottery district office reps requesting locations of whichever game you decided to focus on. While the largest concentrations of these games in the state is either at AK Kwik, or lottery district offices, there may be food stores that have 1-2 books out in the middle of nowhere along the way. I found 2 books of 50X The Cash in Lawtey yesterday.

Hey Zzplay,
Sorry to hear you've encountered nothing special on 200MS. I didn't even think to look at the book number considering how scarce that game has become and because I wasn't sure how many books were created for that game. AK Kwik allows you to select books, so it would probably be smarter for someone to buy a book in the higher number (closest to 600k) then?
200MS seems to either suck big time, or be extremely rewarding.

$200ms seems like the best bet. It has prizes of 1mil, 20k,10k,5k,and 1k. As compared to say.. 50x, which has what looks like a lot more tickets left of? And HG is just to far spread out.
I wonder what the likelihood is of buying out the $200ms game is, buying up a large bulk of the remaining tickets and NOT hitting a grand prize? A $20k WOULD be nice as that would cover the ticket cost. If I didnt find either one, that would be one massive idiot tax id be out. lol

The only logical way to do this would be to have people in the areas buy them for you and send them to you, but has obvious issues. Number 1 being that since nobody here really knows each other, the chance of being screwed is greater. Also the added cost of shipping and what not - though I assume if someone is willing to spend $18k, the $20 shipping doesn't matter. Other than chartering a plane, which is cost prohibitive, nothing else I've thought of would work.
Plus, all the winners are already in Cape Coral so who needs tickets from elsewhere?

BTW, with a game like $200ms that is clearly in very short demand and not going to be re-ordered, why is the end date for the game 2.5 years from now? Dec 2018... That seems very odd to me.

The jackpots on $200MS and 50x, are NOT in Cape Coral. Trust me... I looked. No more left. hahahaha

You know, I wonder if you can go to your district office and tell them what you want to do and see if they'll have reps collect unactivated books and send them to your DO for you to buy.

True, and the odds of hitting $500 or $1k on 200MS is pretty <snip> good compared to any other $10 ticket. You might encounter a couple bad rolls, but 200MS has plenty of "juicy" rolls out there.
If that's what you're thinking, AK Kwik in Gainesville and some other Gainesville stores are your best bet. I know AK Kwik has 20 books of 200MS because I was just there a couple days ago. Zzplay has scouted the area, and he knows what other local Gainesville stores have books of 200MS.
Cape Coral to Gainesville would be a 4 1/2 hr drive, so 9 hr to 10 hr trip tops. It would be alot of driving, but a fun road trip and experiment.

I just assumed they tossed that date in there at some point, maybe when they first started putting dates in, and then never changed it to TBA. Or something along those lines. If the game has enough tickets to last till 2018 it's only because they're hoarding the tickets and only releasing them once in a while.
