Ok, I see. I just playing scratchers in Nov of last year, so still new to what to buy and all. I'm still reading through the TONS of pages of this entire thread and speaking of the $10 Holiday Millions, is that still available anywhere? I live in the panhandle.

First $100 winner in over a year. I didn't win more than $40 off a scratchoff in 2016. Started a new job today and picked this up off a gas station en route home. May be my new go to after work lol.

@ FreeSpirit - No worries. The Holiday Millions game should be almost everywhere since it is only 70%+ sold through, with 1 jackpot remaining.
$10 Holiday Gifts, or game 1292, has less than 700 books across the entire state with 1 potential outstanding jackpot remaining.
For both $10 Holiday games, the jackpot missing is the one in the first half of the print run. We know this because Adam hit 1/2 $2M prizes on the Holiday Gifts this past summer in the 111k book range, and someone from Ocala recently found a $2M prize in the 112k book range. These are both toward the very end of the print of both games. I would recommend buying either ticket in the 60k and under range.
@ Speeddmon - Gratz on the $100 win! Hopefully this is dwarfed by much higher wins to come. :)

So I splurged today, and got $6 worth of Fantasy 5 tickets. I don't really have the urge to play scratchers anymore, since the new ones generally suck. I'll still check up on 2MJ/SM in a week or two, but I just don't really care to play them anymore.
I'm guessing many of you feel the same way with how quiet this thread has been.

I played on Sunday and got my ass handed to me. I have a hard time justifying losing hundreds of dollars at a time. I like to win back more than 35%-40% my money on a roll but that is what it seems out there. When it just does me like that it's hard to keep it going.

The old $10 HG goes up to 113xxx. Adam's jackpot was hit in 111k I believe. Interestingly enough, the $10 Holiday Millions had it's one grand prize found on book 112xxx (also near the very end of the print).
I agree with you, I'd personally buy any $10 Holiday Gifts in the 60k and lower range. I'd say the same applies to the newer $10 Holiday Millions.
@ Skeptic - Another $1M winner on the Fortune was found in Sarasota. Quite a few winners in your neck of the woods. What is this, the second winner from Sarasota within the past week or two?
Of course, the Florida Lottery website still lists 29/46 $1M prizes remaining. The actual number is probably 18-20 $1M prizes remaining. Absolutely ridiculous.
If my math is correct, there is one grand prize in each of the two sets of 52,000 books (3120000 tickets per set / 60).
It seems like they skip some book numbers, so if the top end of the printing is 113999 (or 114000), then the second grand prize will not be in the upper half of 62,000 to 114,000 (and this assumes there is no skipped book numbers in the upper half).
I have seen some tickets around in the 61xxx book number, but if any book numbers were skipped in the upper half, then 61xxx would be too high. Don't know if all the skipped book numbers were in the lower half of the printing...

Yep, we don't know which numbers were skipped, how many, or how many were skipped in the first grouping or second grouping.
In other news, I won $9 on one of my Fantasy 5 tickets yesterday! I was one number off from winning $112 (I had a 6 instead of a 5). I think I'll just stick to getting Fantasy 5 quick picks. The odds of 1 in 377k at hitting up to 200k, even with the possibility of a shared jackpot, isn't bad in my opinion. I didn't realize the Fantasy 5 draw game odds were so good, I think it will be my game of choice. I'll happily spend $20/week playing Fantasy 5 over losing hundreds of dollars playing scratchoffs.
@ Ronnie - That's not a bad thing,I'll do my part in not talking about chasing if it keeps others from playing as well. :)
@ Dreamer - I can definitely understand. Book buying is the easiest way to go into the negative, unless you hit a huge prize. Buying random tickets, for me, has always outpeformed book buying (outside of the $100k prize, obviously).

Local store has a 20 Flamingo Multiplier roll 602xxx. Would this be a relevant range for a 5M or 1m? Thinking probably not.
No to both.
There may be 1 $1M prize in the lower to mid 700k range, possibly one in the low 800k range, and the final 5M prize can be anywhere in the 700k range or low 800k range (end of print).

Was at 7/11 today and bought 2 new $2 tickets, looked at them and they had been scratched all the way down 1/4 of an inch wide top to barcode ... I told the cashier no way they have already been scratched ... she said they hadn't ... 000 001 and 002 on the roll all 3 scratched, she said it happened as she pulled them out ... they need to work on their micro-scratching there ;-) ... what a joke of a store (I left without tickets and my money refunded)

Make sure you report them to the Florida Lottery. I would have taken pictures, and send them screenshots.
When I was traveling in South FL during the Fall, I bought tickets from several stores that look like they had been microscratched. Heck, I think I saw some microscratched $25 Fortune tickets from a Publix. At the time, obviously, I didn't think anything of it. If I ever see this again, I'll report without hesitation.
