There are not a lot of those left. From prior discussions here, it seems the second winning ticket may be in the lower half book numbers 60,000 or less...
I will usually buy 1 to get the book # at least .... but couldn't do it ... reverse pull Publix ... I would have bought 1 if it was traditional pull

The only thing I'll say is that look at the trends. The closest hit in between jackpots was 19,999 on Jackpots 4-5 and also have you ever wondered if the lottery is telling you the correct information. If you want to go off your above information ask for verification of all the jackpots as I'm guessing they gave you the 2nd to last jackpot on the game. The only way to know if they are telling the truth is to get an actual picture and I know they aren't going to do that. Other than that info 20k+ 655173 is 675173. If it is the truth I'm sure that was still one of the last books to be released at the end of the ticket pool.

Zebekyia, did you see my earlier post on 2MJ? We know that the game is not re-orderable and the warehouse is out of sellable books. Using the list of retailers Dracos obtained from 1 Dec, 6 Jan, and 19 Jan I looked at the 19th's report and compared it to the information in the earlier reports. On the 19th, there's a list of 106 retailers as having 2MJ, but only 43 of those have had actual activity on the game with the other 63 locations having the exact same information as the report from 1 Dec (essentially shows them as having received books that they haven't put up for sale, lost, ??, etc).
Within the 43 retailers, I also looked for "new" retailers that popped up on the later lists that were not present on the report from 1 Dec. One district in St Petersburg had several locations magically pick up books in January along with some other locations around the state. My question to you is these books that appeared at these "new" locations, were they more likely to come from another retailer or were they part of a last batch to leave the warehouse that was delivered sometime b/w 1 Dec - 6 Jan ? If the latter, then my next question is if we assume the final 2MJ Grand Prize was released do you think it was released prior to 1 Dec and sitting in one of the idle books at a location not currently selling the game, or is it apart of the last batch that was delivered from the warehouse? If it came from the warehouse, then I think my post will show all the locations that got part of the last "batch" which is just a handful of locations. But I'm not sure because on Dracos 1 Dec list, there were a few Wawa locations listed as having received books of 2MJ, but they disappeared from the January reports. We know Wawa only sells scratchers from the vending machine and these were not being filled in their kiosks, so the lottery must have picked these up. Did they go to a place like AK, Niki, etc or were they returned for destruction?

bought 2 from the machine at Publix and got this decent win. Havn't seen or heard from BIG JIM or Steve the midget for a while ??
Nice win Skeptic. I've all but given up on that game. I got a $1k winner last year, but other than that, it has been losers with the occasional $25 winner or maybe $100 if I'm really lucky.

The books that showed up in new locations were likely from the last batch that left the warehouse. Typically when they are down to 60 or 70 or so they will look at what games they want to close strategically. Say they are wanting to bring out a new 10 dollar game they will target closing or finishing up a 10 dollar game. Hence by most state laws when they have no books to send out from the warehouse they have to by law close the game. So I would say that 80% plus of the tickets that showed up in new locations were from the last batch of tickets the lottery sent out. The last jackpot almost always comes out in the last 1-2% of tickets sent out, however in a few ocassions that has not happened. With this knowledge I would target those locations for the final prize, but you need to keep in mind that there is always a chance it's not there or never gets activated.
I wouldn't necessarily target new retailers they are going to do it in a couple of ways. New retailers are easy to dump old tickets on as everything they typically get sells pretty well. Case in point in our home state a new store somehow has a higher volume of small tier prizes when they get there tickets in. The older stores I would target would be one's that you know are high on sales as they are going to send a majority of the books based off stats. The stats they use are easy, what were the highest selling stores of these particular tickets in the state. If they need 50 retailers they will build a list of new stores to dump them in and say they need 27 more stores they will take the top selling 27 on the list and send the books.
The LSR's (Lottery Service Reps) that stock the stores in our state are all salary based (bonus is based off of an increase in sales in your area), so they all try to stock the stores with the highest selling tickets. This is why you see older games removed as the sales dwindle and certain stores have older games just because there are enough people that play the game in the store to keep it on the list of the game staying in the store.
So, one's that disappear from inventory can be 1 on 3 things. When books are activated at a kiosk they are listed as activated on their inventory system. When they build you a list of inventory they are doing it based off of what's been claimed on the books when it comes to activated tickets. So it's possible some of the books being listed as activated are books that were completely sold without the top prize being claimed. In our state they have a couple of options to pay for the books. They can either pay upon 90% of the book being sold or they can pay a flat time after activation. If it goes past 90 days of activation and 90% of the book being sold is not been hit they will charge the store. So Wawa could of sold the books 3 months ago and they never had 90% of the book prizes claimed which would be a top tier prize or they took delivery and they sit in a box and no one put them out. They could of been returned and resent out, but definitely you have a list of two times frames yoPost Replyu potentially have great information to narrow it down to the last prize.
If I were coming down before June I would target the stores you mentioned. I'm coming down in June and will likely take a shot at a few Super Millions books if that game is still super low in supply. I would not buy anything out of the last jackpot section, however as the odds that when pooling they took a previous jackpot and stuck it in the last section are extremely low and something I've not historically seen.

Does anyone have the target range for 2MJ? I am terrible at reading these numbers, the last book I bought was 0255599, should I be looking for 0260-0270?

My opinion is 255K is ok but a lot of people might think that is too low. Where did you play this roll?
The last grand prize was found on 213k something. I'm thinking of buying the last few ticks at chevron in ocala even though its roll is 245k. With so few books left might as well pick up what's left.

I'd totally click the one's without a picture. That's true gambling :). Thanks for the picture it makes me laugh. Every single book of tickets comes with a display card atleast in our state, so I think that display is great.

Stopped by Publix a little while ago and STEVE the midget was there just starting to buy $20 FLAMINGO ..... there's a couple benches with soft cushions near the entrance ...... people sit around reading the paper, scratching tickets, scratching their a$$ or just hanging out.... STEVE bought the rest of the roll .... about 22 tickets . CHECK THIS OUT !!!! I was sitting next to STEVE on the bench watching him scratch ..... one $400 ... one $200 ... one $150 and 7 in a row $100'S !!!! A couple $20's as well. UNBELIEVEABLE hot roll !! Think he got around 1600 back from 440 ... I never did any good with FLAMINGO. Just goes to show you ...... there are hot rolls around ...... trick is to find them. STEVE was wondering what the other tickets sold from that roll could have been ?

it is one of the new machines ... yes/no buttons to agree to doesn't give change and the handle on bottom to help handicap reach tickets (no idea how it works)

@ Kfla - The 250k range is possible on 2MJ. The game's print goes up to 277k. 2MJ is so scarce to the point where I'd buy anything 240k+, especially seeing cases where jackpots have popped up earlier than he very end of the print (but perhaps the book has been sitting).
I thought what was interesting about that machine's display is the fact that they have the $20 Lucky 200k/yr for Life, and $3 Bejeweled Diamond payout games loaded in them. The LFL is the oldest $20 game FL Lottery offers. The $3 Bejeweled Diamond payout, in my opinion, has been replaced and outclassed by the new $3 Yahtzee ticket with the same good odds of hitting the $50k prize ( 1in 756k), but substantially better odds a hitting $100. (From 1 in 2400 to 450!) Yeah, the Bejeweled Diamond Payout ticket just sucks. The $20 Lucky For Life ticket generally sucks too. I'm proud of myself for no buying anything, I jus walked pass the machine after taking the photo. I'm back to "biweekly splurges".

Wow. That's a crazy roll, especially given the odds on any prize above $100. I barely buy tickets for that game because it has been absolutely terrible to me. Now I know why I have gotten so many bad tickets on it, they concentrate the winners on a few rolls and devastate everyone else. Good for him in having the instinct (and guts) to buy all of them.
I'm taking a small break as well. I'll try again in a few weeks.
