David Edwards who won a share of Powerball and blew it all years ago suffered a massive stroke and perished.

Sad story.

It was his money to do with what he wanted. Most of us would disagree with how he lived and spent his winnings, but they

were his. Bad choices in some people's eyes are what fits for the those being judged. He probably thought he died and went

to heaven when he learned he won. I can imagine how happy he was...and what dreams he had. It sounds like he lived some

of them and then had them taken away. I can't say anything about what he did and where he wound up...hospice, broke and

now dead. Hopefully, he was able to help some people along the way.

His saving grace might be that he was able to experience a whole different lifestyle and taste the other side...usually

people that have been there make sure people that are there have a little happiness in their lives by giving.

I hope he did that for just one person.

The cars, the house, the drugs and all the other expenditures aren't what most people want but he had his chance at

what he thought he wanted in life and wound up right back to where he started. Maybe that was the whole point.

We don't know why someone who wins is allowed to win....luck? destiny? fate? learning experience? Who knows?

I'll be holding my tongue hoping that he was able to do just one good thing for someone that they could return it to others

tenfold.

What!! When did it happen? That is very sad, I know he had medical problems and he never got that back surgery he needed but I did not know he was in that bad of shape...I hope it was not drug related...Condolensences to his family

Amen. Sorry to hear about his death and it sounds like he had a loyal ex-wife. I think he did the best he could.

Yeah I would imagine he had been unhappy for a looong time
