Well with the new change to the Mega Millions and what if the jackpot ever reaches $2.0 Billion jackpot? You think that is possible? What your thoughts on this topic...

1. I'd go for the annuity option. Actually at $800m I'd go for it.
2. I'd boycott MM if they put a cap on the prize.

People are more complicated than the masks they wear in society...

I'm not so sure. With 70% of the combinations likely to be sold for tonights draw, if it were to roll over again I would guess 100% of the combinations would be sold the next draw.

Nah there would be murder in the streets. i dont think they can put a cap on it either, it rolls when people buy tickets, so you'd have to stop selling tickets.

If it keeps rolling to $2B a lot of people will be yelling "It's fixed! Rigged".

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I think this current jackpot will be won before it reaches $2 billion (could be wrong!). If it reaches $1 billion, people will go bonkers with ticket purchases. At some point soon I assume a 100% combination coverage will occur, so it'll just be a matter of how many people are going to split the jackpot.

Of course it's possible. It's even possible that you'll win a jackpot. It's just that the odds are very much against it.

Yeah even at a $1 Billion Jackpot i can imagine people will go nuts and spend their entire paycheck soley on tickets... Even seniors will be throwing in SS retirement money to get tickets.. Talk about one crazy day if no one wins tonight and Friday $800+ million drawing..

You Guys are a lucky with the Mega Millions. We have a cap on the Euro-millions lottery it can't go higher than 190 Million Euro ..

I can't even imagine the hysterics if this thing rolls again. The media will cover this non stop until there is a winner.

Yeah the media will be going crazy trying to find out who the winner is if jackpot hits $1.0 Billion bucks..
