   Guide to tracking numbers, due sums and due pairs, root sums.

  You will need a notebook, legal pads, pencils, lots of pencils.

  Some of you are computor savvy and use spread sheets, that great.

  I use paper because it is easier to lay everything out in front of me.

  It may seem like a monumental task getting set up, once you have what you want to track, your daily workouts should only take a few minutes.

  Staying organized is key, even if you get a couple days behind, catch up is easy.

  This thread will take many postings. as I will tackle one thing at a time, I do have to go to work, be a mom, etc.

  We have many great Gurus here, all suggestions ,thoughts and ideas are welcome.

  First let's start with the lingo.

  Pairs, most of us of course know what a pair is, for newbies , it is 2 of the 3 numbers

  Example 369. you have pairs 36-39-69

  Sums, that's all the numbers added together.

  Example 357 - 3+5+7 = 15 so 15 is your sum.

  There are 28 sums 0-27, you can omit sum 0, since 000 rarely falls, but it does once in 10 years, lol

  My chart goes from 1-27, It never changes, I have a printed chart that I lamenated for quick reference.

  We have one here, and I'll explain how to find it when I am done posting.

  Root sums, that is when you add your sum together, up in our example, 15 is the sum, so 1+5=6

  6 is your root sum, there are only 9 root sums, unless you want to bring in the 0 for 000...pffffft.

  Last sum digit, in our example sum 15, our last sum digit is 5. Now for last sum digit, there are 10, because sums 10 and 20 end in 0.

  For root sums, 10 would be 1 and 20 would be 2.

  Now for HHH and  LLL, that means High High High or Low Low Low

  I do not track these, but you will see HLH OR LLH.

  This is telling you the value of numbers, 0-4 are lows 5-9 are highs

  So in our example 357, it would read LHH

  If you want to track these, that's great, but I don't

  Now for EEE and OOO

  Even and odd numbers

  0-2-4-6-8 all even

  1-3-5-7-9 all odd

  In our example it would read OOO, Again, I don't track these, but if you do, that's great.

  Now getting started, it is important to track your numbers, I have a note book and I track by the month, It's not a fresh start, it's just more organized.

  Many times I have little notes, that remind me of missing pairs, under average sums, hot and cold numbers etc...all this is carried into the new month.

  First things first

  Here's how I track my numbers, and I do keep Midday and evening separate

  March 2014

  date   midday sum rs  evening sum rs

  3-1     142         7   7   392      14    5

  3-2     884       20   2   858      21    3

  3-3     554       14   5   136      10    1

  I have the whole month, but I am not going to type it all.

  rs is of course root sum, I do not track last sum digit, but I do use it when I crunch numbers in the inspect 3.

  I am not a paid spokes person, but I highly suggest upgrading your membership, I use the inspect 3 all the time, along with search past results...more on those later.

  Now, on a separate piece of paper I track my root sums, I keep midday, evening separate.

  This is what Michigan looks like today

  At the top, is the root sum that has been missing the longest, it doesn't mean it's the next one to fall

  Midday    evening

  Or you can combine them for an overall picture

  This chart is simple, shows me that for midday root sum 7 has been out the longest, the midday and evening charts show me many odd root sums are falling, are we due for and even one.

  Now today, I played all sum 9, even with 7 and 1 being the longest out, the reason, the root sum 9's that fell where both sum 18, sum 9 has been awol for awhile, and the pairs I like work out for sum 9...more on reasoning later.

  Now let's say 237 falls for midday sum 12 root sum 3

  I would go to my midday chart and x out the 3 and put it at the bottom of the running list, so now I would have for midday

  This is a visual chart, I don't count skips, now after awhile, I may see that root sum 7 still there, with other info I'll get to in more detail, I can't put 30 years of observation into one lesson.

   

  So, I see root sum 7, then on another chart I see we need the 38 pair sum 16, you bet I am going heavy on 385, how I pick straights vs boxed later.

  Sometimes, instead of playing tons of numbers, I focus on one, cuts my losses and the patience of waiting for a number you can trap, really pays off.

  Tomorrow, I'll post a sums chart, and my monthly running sums chart. very easy

  Today lesson is setting up your monthly tracking and your root sum chart, it's easy to get your root sum chart started by working backwards, putting the roots sums that fell recently on the bottom, work your way up the monthly chart.

  As you add charts, daily upkeep is very quick and easy.

  Flip this chart to the right and you have what's called the Bell Curve.

  Instead of having a pool of 1000 numbers, we have a pool of 220 numbers now.

  Why I love having this chart handy, because sometimes you forget some numbers exist.

  Example, and this is where I sometimes make mistakes, if I am looking for root sum 5 sum 14, I tend to gravitate to numbers I like, 257 or 149, I forget 338 exists, so this chart is a reminder .

  Other mistakes I make, I drop numbers to soon, or hang on to long...it is important to pay attention to mistakes, you can learn from them.

  Let's recap...you tracking your numbers, marking the sum and root sum and you have a down and dirty running root sum chart going. Muscle memory for your mind, writing this down and going through it will hopefully help you develope a sense of the numbers. Instinct!

  My next chart, is my most important chart, I do not track sums the same way I do root sums, you'll end up chasing ghosts, Why? because not all the sums will come out in a month.

  When I do a real time distibution chart from the inspect 3, you'll understand.

  I have a 3 ring folder, that I keep all my montly distribution charts, at the end of the month I type it nice and print it out,, Why? so I can go back and look at the data.

  Example, right now, I am hot for sum 9, it's been scare, and I know when it heats up, I can hopefully capitalize on it.

  Another example, sum 12 went crazy, was falling all over the place, it cooled off, so when I was looking for root sum 3, I had sum 3 and sum 21 on my radar. Mama was happy.

  Don't worry, I will get to the pairs, first things first.

  This is my most important chart, I have a 3 ring binder, at the end of the month, I type it and print it out, so I can go back and look at data.

  On a legal pad, number 1- 27

  4- etc...

  I fill this chart in as the numbers come out, I write them the exact way they come out, I keep this chart neat and well organized

  This is your sums chart.

  Next I will give you an example of how I analyze the data, because this is your starting point.

  We are missing the digit 0,

  57 is the hot pair

  we have 2 doubles

  1 triple

  We have gaps in our sums

  What's missing, root sum 3 and 8

  We still have pairs, this is just a little something to chew on, as you get used to your own distribution chart or even using inspect 3,

  I will do a real time inspect 3

  First person to chime in with a state, I will do that one, and we can all follow along, there is still other considerations before we have the whole picture.

  get a sheet of paper

  Number 1-9

  1-1

  2-1111

  3-

  4-11

  5-11111

  6-1111

  7-11

  8-1

  9-1

  every time you get your daily root sum, make a stick figure we will count them, from this handy cheat sheet we see, root sum 3 way over due, root sum 5 really hot...by looking at our sums chart, we can narrow our choices. I would most likely go with sum 12.

  New York it is, your the winner Jakeda, be patient, this will take awhile, not a fast typer.

  The first thing I will do, is write down all the midday and evening draws for the last 20 days and run them through inspect 3.
