Rhode Island Lottery

CRANSTON, R.I. — Lottery fans now have another opportunity to win big.  The Rhode Island Lottery is adding a midday drawing to the Numbers Game.

Up until now, the Numbers Game only had an evening drawing.  This new midday drawing begins Sunday, May 11.

Drawings will take place at 1:30 p.m.  Videos of the midday drawings will be posted to the Rhode Island Lottery Web site and the Rhode Island Lottery's YouTube channel.

The televised evening drawings will continue to be televised on WPRI 12 at 6:59 p.m. Monday through Saturday and at 6:29 p.m. on Sundays.

All Rhode Island Lottery drawings are published on Lottery Post's Rhode Island Lottery Results page soon after each drawing.  The first midday drawing will be published at Lottery Post on Sunday evening.

The Rhode Island Lottery's Numbers Game is a Pick 4 game that also allows players to wager on just 3 or 2 of the digits.

Just another scheme to feed the lottery beast-tax machine of collecting more money from anxious players.

Rhode Island Lottery has a You Tube channel? Maybe I should check to see if N.J. has one as well.

Huh?? Do you hate playing the lottery?  I don't understand how adding a midday drawing could be considered a bad thing for anyone who enjoys the lottery.

Great news for Rhode Islanders!!!  State lotteries allow us as many chances to play as we're willing to pay for.  I hope Colorado gets multiple Pick 4 & Pick 3 drawings soon.

One drawing is enough...there are too much addictions here...lol

Gee, card games, Hit or Miss / All or Nothing games, Midday drawings (Illinois has 4 Hit or Miss drawings a day, one of them being called the "Drive Time drawing")............

Why don't we just have one "Mahooga" national lottery and get it over with?

Have a centrally located actual drawing, let each state be a 'branch office' like a bank, and let the states run it, not outfits like Northstar - big on promises, short on delivery.

Sell the tickets at post offices and give the USPS a cut (are you listening Postmaster General?) and there you go.

Just be wary of anyone who claims to have a system for a lock on today's national draw! This will probably occur before the first drawing.

After living in Texas where there are four Pick 4 & Pick 3 drawings six days a week, I could not imagine living in a one-drawing-a-day State. Play 1212 & 2222 in all States this week. Good luck!!!

I love the lottery. It's the only tax system that actually creates millionaires.

'Bout Time! Hope some of the other one draw states take note and do the same! (CALIF are you listening? Time for a Mid Pick 4 draw!) I mean how hard is it to pick another number? Set computer...press button. Wha-la!

so now ocean staters have an opportunity to play a "fixed" payoff numbers game twice a day. they only play a paltry 500.00 for 3 digits exact while their border state of ma has an average of 700.00 for the exact same play. their cash 5 game starts at 25,000.00 and builds up when no one hits it is "split" if there are multiple winners. yet, ma pays 100,000.00 to multiple winners no matter how many. you have to feel for the rhode island people stuck living in the middle of that state as they are getting hosed by this inept poorly run state lottery.

Have to look up the artist who did the Sophie Gengembre Anderson portrait... and there must be a "herstory"  that goes with this beautiful face.
