Remember that interpreter that was supposed to do sign language for the Mandela funeral but he was crazy and just made stuff up?

I'd put on a disguise and do that for a few minutes, then bow and leave.

And then I remembered I have a real beard and mustache.

I'd hire a make-up artist/hair stylist and ask her to make me look like somebody she would not like to date/remember.

People are more complicated than the masks they wear in society...

If I had to face the camera I would make sure my make up was perfect!! I would read a short statement thanking the lottery. I would give no personal information about myself and would take no questions.

If this media thing is controlled by the lottery they may decide to not use it.

I'm not sure my state requires a photo op, I have heard of winners that I could not find a picture of,

and took note that publicity of them died down quickly.

even after the government takes away 50% for taxes. You're still going to have people tell you to pay your "fair share."

I like that! you could also tell the press that the secret to getting $30 million in your bank is by first winning a $100 million lottery jackpot.
