3000 Defenseless Civilians Slaughtered @ non military sneak attack target on World Trading Capitol of commerce & culture NYC
The 13th anniversary of the attacks -- which murdered nearly 3,000 people and pitched the United States into wars in Afghanistan, eventually Iraq, and a perpetual struggle against global terrorism
Actually more when subtotalling the Pentagon & Pennsylvania air attacks - all totaled more then experienced in the sneak attack on our fleet's headquarters in Pearl Harbor 12/7/41 - "A day that will live in infamy" ~ President Roosevelt
When I last visited the site 7 stories down to building original footprints, the energy was eerie not unlike the solemnise at Gettysburg hallowed ground, as the international visitors, from above site, looked down with hushed silence and disbelief at sacred sacrificial ground below.
In Memorium Lets Us Never Forget those lost lives & the heroism of our heroic firemen & police who ran into the chaotic carnage to save lives while the innocents were running out for their lives.
When seeing at all those lights go out when the towers were tragically blown down, I recall an old but appropriate saying by the Christopher's:
"It is better to light one candle, then to curse the darkness."
I take this humble opportunity, to advocate that we light one candle for every lost lifeso that we NEVER FORGET!
Thank you in advance for your kind consideration & prayers
