It's only shown twice so far in 2015. I'm going to mark off every state it fell in 2014.
AZ,AR,CA,CO,CT,DE,FL,GA,ID,IL,IN,IA,KS,KY,LA,MD,MI,MN
MO,NE,NJ,NM,NY,NC,OH,OK,PA,SC,TN,TX,TRI,VA,WA,DC,WV,WI
Now so far it's fallen twice in Indiana,Illinois,New Mexico,Kansas and Idaho.
Can we safely eliminate these states? I wouldn't bet the farm on that but am going to pretty much retire that number from those states.
So now can we assume that 538 will be showing in any of these remaining states for the rest of 2015? It will be fun to find out. We see that Idaho repeated this year and one of our "remaining states" LA hit so far.
AZ,AR,CA,CO,CT,DE,FL,GA,ID,IL,IN,IA,KS,KY,LA,MD,MI,MN
MO,NE,NJ,NM,NY,NC,OH,OK,PA,SC,TN,TX,TRI,VA,WA,DC,WV,WI
Perhaps we need to go further back to narrow the list even more. Let's go back to 2013.
AZ CA CT FL GA MD MI MN MO NY OH OK SC
TN TRI VA WA DC WV WI
So these are the states that are left that 538 is due in.
AZ CA FL GA MI MN OH TN TRI WV
That's 1 number down,lol. 999 more to go!
No,but seriously, it sort of gives you a perspective.
I think I'm going to start playing it here in California. You never know.
If you are just randomly jotting down numbers to play on your playslips you might want to see just how good of a chance it has to be drawn by taking a look at your numbers like this. Why not give yourself the best possible chance to hit a straight?
