I notice that when I am playing a slot machine or video Keno, there are times when I start to "see" or hear the machine differently. Just recently I had this feeling and won $5,000 on a Pompeii slot. I don't know whether to call it getting "in sync" with the play of the machine, a rhythm or what...but I have also felt this way and hit a Keno progressive on more than one occasion.
Has anyone else ever experienced this phenomenon before a decent sized win or is it my imagination?

I don’t think it’s your imagination because I have heard stories of winners, where they mention that a feeling came over them as they walked by a slot machine. So, they decided to play the machine and after a few pulls they win. Later, they tell the story that it was as if the machine was talking to them. They felt a pull to play or a magnetic draw to sit and play.
I have heard many times from those around. They become one with the machine. They study the sound of the cues and pitches of the pulls. If the slots have a theme or character they listen to the voice and gestures. If they go enough times to the casino, the slot machine becomes their machine, or friend.
Others tell the machine what they want. For example You can say, "In the next three spins I want to "see" two double diamonds with a red 7’s or the triple sevens. “ <<It may sound a bit much, but I know people do this.
I not only pay attention to the machine, but to the casino in general. I listen for the sound of the music in the casino. If it is hopping, then I feel the machines are loose. If the music is slow and drawn out, the place is tight and the casino is slow.
