  Yesterday, my brother told me about the guy in VA that printed a mistake ticket and won $7 mil...... and then this happened

  My brother was going out and asked if I needed anything. I said that I won $4 and as long as he was going out, if he could get me a Powerball, NY Lotto and a take 5 ticket. Even exchange.

  He came back with a Powerball, take 5 and a Mega ticket. Oops, I got a mega ticket for Tuesday instead of a NY Lotto.  Maybe, you never know. If I win Tuesday Mega, I will certainly let you all know if it was from that ticket. 

  I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

  I always keep them. Haven't won anything on them but who knows. There are plenty of stories like the ones posted where "mistakes" turned out to be jackpots. I recall one in NY where the clerk gave this guy the wrong $20 ticket, turned out to be a 10K a week for life jackpot.

  Keep mistake tickets. Lady in GA won $25 mill with one.

  I"ve never gotten a wrong ticket before but I will keep this in mind if it happens in the future.

  There are some people who won some money (nothing big) then use some of that winning money to buy tickets and win a large sum. You never know where that luck can rub off.
