Major problem with the millennials is their ravenous appetite for unearned free stuff.
Most all mills generation asks "is to stop being insulted."
Oh, you actually have to work to acquire your wants? How terrible is that?
Life's not fair & nobody has learned (anything) that better then your generation? Please!
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." ~ One Founding Father & President Thomas Jefferson
Post war fathers came out of the difficult depression into WW11 (1941-45). More than 14 Millions men & women served. Over 500,000 died. In Korea (1950-we had approx 40,000 fall in combat, and during Vietnam (1955-1975) my generation-60,000 gave their lives. Our American death toll in Afghanistan (2001-present) is approx 2,500 In Iraq(2003-11) some 4,500 fell. Everybody who died wanted life; they paid the price for ours.
Everyone takes their turn, learn history your lives have been 10 times better than those of previous generations. whatever life throws at you, learn to deal with it. That's your job as an American. We have (imperfectly) done ours
Try learning the real time issue& voting once in a while. Not just for free stuff that your grandchildren will pay for, but for a country based on freedom & liberty rather than taking from those who contribute to give to those who don't.
If you have a problem with the government, then join those of us who are currently trying to correct it before you have to fight the next potential incoming revolution or threat-& not for more free stuff but for our freedom once again.
And welcome to the proud self reliant zone (read Emerson/Thoreau)Hey millennial 1960 TV Rod Serling opened the show with: "you are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not only of sight & sound (material adv inducements), but of mind. That's the signpost up ahead - The Twilight Zone. Well I would like to take the millennials into another dimension too called entrepreneurial, commercial & artistic opportunities for your mind. L@@K @ the all the incredible open opportunities that never before existed.
"Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”
