  1986, Cerritos, CA; Aeromexico jet liner collided with a small plane -82 people perished

  ~

  1986 Black Sea; The Soviet passenger ship 'Admiral Nakhimov' collided with a commercial vessel causing both to sink- reportedly 450 perished under the waves ~~~~

  1997 France, a major car crash inn a  Parisian tunnel claimed the lives of British Princess Diana, her escort Dodi Fayed and their driver Henri Paul.
