  I think I may have done this poll before but am curious to see how many "system" users are out there compared to players who only like to be given numbers to play. What do you prefer? Thank You!

  I prefer systems. That way I'm responsible if I hit or miss. If I miss, I can go back and see why. Learn from it and apply to future play.

  Those who run the lotteries have the best system ever.

  Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners. 

  

  There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

  Most folks who visit LP want someone to tell them what to play. 
  If they win - great. If not, they can blame someone else.
  
  Winning any lottery game demands a lot of time and work.
  I'm a systems player. I need about an hour to update my files, another hour coming up with integers that, according to the data, have
  best chance of winning.
  One of LPs experts, BobP, said in a recent post that lottery systems have two components - mathematical and holistic.
  I don't believe there is a mathematical solution because such methods are based on 'phantom mathematics' supposedly taking place in a 
  lottery drawing machine. 
  Also, I believe this is a true statement - No man or machine can know in advance exactly what the next winning combination will be.
  Therefore, holistic methods have best chance of identifying possible winners.
  Yes, holistic is educated guesswork.
  Unfortunately, creating and maintaining trend charts and follower strings requires more work than most people have to give, assuming
  they are smart enough to do the analysis.
  The fact that you aren't getting many responses reveals a basic truth - folks want to win with the least amount of effort on their part.
  I hope they appreciate all the work you do giving them numbers to play.
  I'm not winning as often as I want, but, I'm winning often enough to keep me interested.

  Excellent response.

  I do tracking of everything, use a couple of methods that are predictive. But my "eye" for the numbers is what usually gets it in the end.

  Most people won't do that much work or appreciate the time it takes to actually write out a post and make sense to just to share what is working for them.

  With 1000 or 10000 combinations possible, I need a logical reason to put $ on any combination...

  Often, I'll inspect results of the game in question, and deflate missing sums, sums last digit, and underplayed key numbers...

  I tend to play where balance is needed.... In other words, where the scale is askew, sums, key#s, etc. The pendulum has to swing the other way...such is the passage of time....numbers.

  When I play Daily 4 (Pick 4), I usually play my own numbers. But the jackpot games, QP. Out of millions of combinations, it's like picking a needle out of a haystack.

  A system requires time and energy. In a fair lottery the time and energy will be wasted given that your chances of winning using the system will be exactly the same as someone who just doodles on a playslip or tells the clerk to give them X amount of tickets.

  It's common knowledge that a fair lottery means that all the balls have an equal chance of coming out. I know that a system takes time and energy by looking at the amount of time and energy people in this site devote to their systems.

  SYSTEMS  are best, because you don't become dependant on someone else to give you numbers to play. What if something happens to that person ?? 

  You can use the systems to figure out your own numbers.

  Systems can be tweaked, and modified to create entirely new systems.

  Thus, SYSTEMS are more valuable and have much more lifetime longevity.

  One guy on my job I suggested different systems and he was like I just stick to my own set of numbers that are due  .Extremely depressing moody individual. All of a sudden last week he stopped talking to me. Supposedly he wins all the time but only tells certain people. A few weeks ago he gave me 732 424 505 978 723 .None of them came in Few weeks ago he hit 404 . Must have been playing it 4yrs since it hasn't come out since then
