  Hello everyone, I'm GorgeousGreene and this is my first time posting. I'm just wondering if there's a formula that people are using to win on a consistent basis, since I'm having absolutely no luck at winning any of these games. Years ago I overheard a coworker claim that he knew of a way to win Daily 3 everyday, but his wife didn't approve of him sharing it. I don't know if he was being truthful or not, but he did always seem to have money and he eventually quit, so I've since tried off and on to either find a formula or create one on my own, to no avail. I'd just like to know if there are others who have won, because I just have a tough time thinking that these games are randomly generated. Thanks.

  I played pretty heavy last year in California and was up about $2k between March and August.  I was using a progressive type system I saw on Steve Player's blog.  I can't post a link yet, but you can just Google "pick 3 progressive wagering" and find it.  It's basically a Martingale system where you play until you win, increasing your bet when you pass the break-even threshold.

  The first series I ran I was into it about $1200 when I hit a number with 3 tickets played.  Pretty nice net.  The luckiest hit I had was when I started another series and missed buying into the Midday draw, so my tickets spanned one day to the next.  I was buying a week ahead, so when the seven days were up without a win, I overlapped the previous series by buying a ticket starting in the afternoon draw and had a number come up while holding wo tickets (so just over $1k with $240 into it.)

  I quit playing when I lost my nerve.  I was far enough into it that I should have been playing at the 5 level (so just over $2k out of pocket) but couldn't quite bring myself to play $100/day.  I switched to playing 4 tickets/day and was going to just quit when I was back even from where I started.  I did that 3 days and managed to collect another hit holding 4 tickets, so ended up down about $200 for that series. 

  My thoughts regarding the randomness of the lottery are always along the lines of the games have to be random because imagine the story that could/would be written by some news outlet about them not being random.

  I will add this, folks exhaust their  energy on analyzing endless data , the focus should be on prediction methods. P3 pays $100 for  dollar box bet, $500 for $6 combo bet, so you see, for P3 you need just 4 picks to make profit on every 10 draws. The same is true for P4, a dollar  box bet pays $200, with 4 picks , you bankroll with $2/pick for a target prize of $400 at cost of $80(10 draws ). The initial bet is subjective, as you can proceed with progressive waging with early hit.

  Hi Frank, thank you for responding to my question. You're literally like the only person who's ever spoken to me on here lol but its ok since I now know there's a stigma with newbies. And thank you for introducing me to Steve Player's systems, before you referenced him, I had no idea who he was lol.  I glanced at his name on here, but i thought it was the screen name of someone on here. Is that the only system of his that you tried? I was thinking of trying the Simon Surround system, but I'm not sure yet.

  I would be hard pressed to be willing to shell out $200 for any system unless I could see some more predictions; say a week's worth, with at least 3 or 4 hitting.  Looking at the history of California's Daily 3, the example number from the system page, 437, has never been followed by any of the straight numbers you would play based on that module.  The weird thing is, 437 has not hit since Feb 2012, around 3000 draws ago, though the total hits is 14, which is in line with the 'expected' hits.

  Depending on your budget, you might look at playing the boxed progressive.  I tried that a couple of times and hit a number within 2 weeks both times.  The problem there is the profit is pretty small, but if you rolled over some wins you could pay for a system with the winnings.

  Thanks but my budget is pretty small, so I'm not able to do the progressive method at this time. However, I do agree with you on paying for a system only if its proven to work, especially since I'd be able to earn the money back lol. Have you looked into any of the free systems on here, like the one ppl are recently downloading in the main forum? I think its still fairly new, so I'm unsure if ppl have made money from it, or if its not a winning strategy.
