  You still can't stay on topic or remember what you posted. Claiming via trust in a non anonymous state is not the same as "refusing to provide her name or where she lived". Besides your lottery news is 10 year old; do you think the judge in New Hampshire will rule in favor of Jane Doe if she wears large sunglasses too?

  Which part of claiming by trust (and not the disguise) was the reason the Illinois winner could claim anonymously is confusing you this time?

  We'll find out shortly here in New Hampshire. Attorneys for last months big Powerball winner will be in court tomorrow seeking an order that will allow her to remain anonymous. Tonight's news had a story about this. She may also have another avenue to stay secretive. A state senator will be introducing a bill this week to allow lottery winners to remain anonymous. Even if it does pass it would appear unlikely to retroactively protect our winners identity.

  I made the "sunglasses" remark in response to rosumary's question: "Can we wear sunglasses, a face mask and a hat during the press conference?" I know how difficult it is for you to stay on topic, but I'll try to explain it so even a child could understand. 

  Don't know and don't care what the 2008 Illinois Lottery policy was, but the jackpot in the 10 year old LP discussion was claimed by JYS Family Limited Partnership. Only you know the relevance of the woman wearing large sunglasses at the press conference. I posted a link to the current LP discussion about the New Hampshire PB winner has a freedom of information law and their state lottery publishes the names of the winners.

  Don't be stupid; I said wearing a disguise won't prevent the name of a winner name being published. To most it's obvious if the winner claims by trust, the name of the trust will be published. Instead of offering useless info and childish name calling, why not actually research the subject?

  Somebody please explain to Coin Toss the concept of claiming by trust why some winners do it.

  I know NH has a "Freedom of Information" statue, but does that law prevent the lottery from waiting say 30 days after the ticket is validated to publish the name of the winner?
