My calculations for the Total MM payout for the Annuity = $110,250,000.00
The First year check here in CA = $1,659,420.90
My thoughts about all those winners who chose the Lump Sum and lost it all brings me to the Holy Bible. Here is a quote, "He who hastens to be rich shall not go unpunished."
I believe that when I win this MM and take the first year check I will be set.
I do not know the date of my death or incapacitation. We are living longer than expected.
Some of the risks of taking the Annuity are Tax increases in the future, Inflation, and many other unknowns.
The State of California buys government bonds. Most likely Treasury bonds. If California goes under the checks will keep coming to me.

Thank You RJOh for your good luck wishes. I figured that the Total for the 30 years will be equal to $110,250,000 compared to only $66,150,000.00 for the Lump Sum. I use the fact that I am living in California and do not have to pay any taxes to the State.I believe that I can survive on the first year's check worth $1,659,315.90 I will learn from any mistakes and try not to repeat them in the succeeding years.
My family will come first before friends and charities. I am at that age where I cannot work. These winnings have to last until my dying days.
I am dreaming about the days after I win the Annuity. How I will budget. Where should I live?
I keep on forgetting to credit USAMega for all the information that I find there and use.

I hope that one $2 ticket is the only one that matches all 5 numbers plus the PB to win the largest PB jackpot in United States history of over $2 Billion Dollars! ressuccess, Have you found it difficult to have no identity related to your employment? Did you ever work after getting your degree? Retired people lose their identity and find daily life to be a struggle without that name i.e. Doctor, Lawyer, Salesman, Carpenter.
A lottery winner will go through that process if he/she quits a job. A winner could spend some of their money on psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors in general.
Moving from rags to riches can be stressful. Change can be difficult.

Thank You eddessaknight, Would you rather stay poor with its problems or exchange those problems for the problems of being rich? Personal security is a problem for the rich.
Running out of money is a problem for both statuses. However, when you are rich and give away your wealth strangers may not believe you when you say, "I gave all my money away" They say that you are lying to them.

I just had an annual physical and my Doctor quoted the Bible on the length of a man's life. It is Three Score and ten. 70 years. A score = 20 years. 3 X 20 =60 plus 10 = 70 I am 61 so I only have nine years left. I have discussed this with LP Members and come to the conclusion... Cash Lump Sum is for me.
I rarely say the two letter word, "NO". I will have to learn to use it again. I seem to remember when babies are two years old they say NO a lot. Their Mom usually breaks that habit.
