Well, I'm a December baby, so I don't mind cold weather. I prefer THAT to feeling too hot, sticky and humid all the time. I"m only 57 and not ready to start acting like an old person yet. Cold weather, you can always throw on an extra sweater, and it's easier to sleep at night. Down here in this sub tropic climate, there are too many creepy crawlies: lizards, alligators, fire ants, etc. With no real winter to send anything into hibernation or migration to other parts, there is always something hanging around waiting to bite you, infect you, or, worse, EAT you. Plus there is NOTHING to do down here. I find the public transportation backwards. Nothing to take you to the larger cities where you might find some fun things to do. We could use a high speed rail or something like that.
And holidays are like just another day: Christmas, New Year's, etc. They're all so dead. The most anyone does is shoot off fireworks for EVERYTHING. Yeah, it might be great for retirees, but just remember that this state has a nickname: 'God's waiting room.' Half the conversations are about who's sick, who died, and what medication everyone is on. No offense, but all my pals and accquaintances are back up north on Long Island and other parts. There's more to do up there, and FALL is my favorite season.
Anyway, just upgraded to the Platinum membership and found the numbers that me and 82 other people played on that fateful day of December 5, 1994:
3,6,9,18 and 21. Let that be a cautionary tale against playing common number patterns. By the time the smoke cleared, each of us won about $5014 and change. And back then, it was 5 numbers from a playing field of 1-39. I don't think the game was seven days a week yet. Maybe it was every other day from Monday to Friday only? I'll have to look closely at the database again.
Anyhow, I"m focusing on Megamillions right now. I'll be happy with 2nd prize!
