Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

It's no different from playing your favorite numbers and losing. While the guy next door at a fastfood Chinese restaurant, has a meal with a fortune cookie thrown in. Those numbers are played & they walk away with millions of dollars. It's one of life's great mysterious.

Years ago MM was the big game in Tx, didn't have PB yet. I kept track of the numbers drawn by how many times each number was drawn in each position. Man, I spent serious time keeping track of that twice a week, but over time I realized it wasn't worth the work. The odds and combinations were just too big, and that was back when there were 56 numbers in the matrix.

Such a system might be useful in a small game such as Cash 5.

For some, working out lottery systems and playing around with programs is enjoyable in and of itself, sometimes even more enjoyable than playing.

I think you're right. It's the journey that gets some people excited. And in the back of their mind, they think just maybe I'm on to something. I think my excel program has promise. I think about ways to improve it every day. I watch youtube videos endlessly, trying to figure out how to create this formula or that formula. It is fun. When I get frustrated, I move on to my other hobby. Horse racing.

Sometimes it's on our side, and other times it's on the player's side," and added "the state dividend should return to normal when the games "return to their statistical norm. & We just have to ride out this unexpected run of high prize payments".

When payoffs overwhelmingly favor the house, I'm still wondering why any lottery official cares about "people working on systems"

Yeah, pretty much right. Most of it is looking for some little tell that would tip the odds maybe a single decimal point in our favor. It only has to work one time, we retire, write book on our system and sell it on Amazon for $60 a pop! And do Youtube videos on the side with commercials! LOL

The odds hasn't stopped anybody to my knowledge.

And when you think about it, you don't hear the programmers discussing the guy who won due to a fortune cookie or the UPC code on a can of baked beans, sweet corn, toilet tissue......whatever it was. They don't care. They don't care what the lottery officials think. Speaking for myself, I don't care. I'll laugh with you. Then I'll go right back to looking. I'm get lost in gazintas. Like 5 gazinta 35 seven times. Don't change my life one iota how someone won the lottery. Might be a cute story for about 5 minutes but after that life kicks in.

Working on a system is probably not the worst way to waste time when you consider the people who wake up and go to bed watching TV, playing video games, people who can't put their phones down, or stay off instagram/twitter and whatever site feel is so important they can't be without it for a day.

The dog with the stick it still cute. And some days I feel just like that. Very seldom about the lottery.

PS Let's not forgot those people who go out hiking, get lost, and end up being eaten by wildlife. We may be saving a life by writing systems!

Goberment needs to be prepared for any eventuality from a winning lottery system to zombies. In the event it happens and they turn to that page in the contingency plan and the instructions are: "Run in circles, scream and shout." maybe we'll get a refund. Seriously, they have to plan for the possibility no matter how unlikely, though I don't think they buy or test systems. Good chance JP winners are asked if they used a system, good chance the winner isn't all that forthcoming.

I only watched a short portion of this video and decided that it's largely unreasonable in its intent but still has merit. No harm intended to the poster of it at all. How many times are we exposed to animals of the same species that are either trained to be, learn by numerous trial and error, or just by nature smarter than others? It happens every single day and is probably happening somewhere now. To assume that no human(s) have been able to master all lottery games actually isn't unreasonable but, there are in fact players that master their Pick3/4 game daily...can't emphasize this enough ever. Just because these players are smart enough to not put it out there and, as a consequence, completely screw up their 'good thing' doesn't solidify an argument of it being impossible, okay. However, in fairness, the video does accurately illustrate what the vast many of players are doing nearly every day...the same thing over and over that isn't working. Can humans not learn and adapt? Can we not finally learn, along the way, to tilt our heads allowing the stick to effortlessly move through the opening? I know humans can.

If savvy players can find the loophole causing a now defunct game like Cash Winfall and, make millions in the process, then shouldn't it be easier while also way more cost effective on the little baby games such as Pick3/4? As well, look at what happened when they exposed just what they were able to do. It didn't last because there was too much money being paid out in accordance to what was being taking in...in total. What they were doing wasn't illegal at all, just not sustainable for the integrity of the state game. Anyone can go to YouTube or Facebook and see animals doing some pretty amazing things....naturally. I'd argue that God created us to better than animals on every front...and animals cannot do math and organize combos based on observation and analysis. Just my .01

Small games, frequent wins, and regular payouts 'cause.....
