hey guys

just a friendly discussion here i have been through threads and i notice there are people who have been playing one game or another for years with different systems... i am fairly new at learning systems after buying qps for a couple of years before...i guess what i wanna know how do people who have been playing for very long keep the fire burning for years...do you take time off?

I just started on this quest of trying to hit the lottery. Last year it was all on paper. Recently I’ve moved to excel. It’s a time consuming endeavor. But it beats watching tv or drinking. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll have an occasional beer or two. A little off topic.lol..I’m a horse racing handicapper. So now, I move back and forth between the lottery research and online horse racing tournaments. Right now, I’m profitable for the year handicapping. Down hundreds playing the lottery. I’ve kept all my losing tickets. I should add them up.

Gotta piggy back off of what Raven posted. I'd have to say it started with the very simple vision of what was actually discovered as being 'attainable' during the entire trial and error, winning with balanced losing proving grounds. This is only Pick3/4 I'm talking about because anything larger requires pure, unadulterated luck unless you can find the coin to actually implement a viable system. Next, odds make all the difference and further contribute to what's attainable while also making the quest easier. For instance, 500:1 odds versus 900:1 is a night and day difference....and will allow a savvy player to lock in on consistent wins and regular payouts. Granted, its not a win-win deal each and every time on any game but, with a proper understanding and implementation of a purposely designed system, a player can stay ahead even after losses are factored in. Happens every day and I believe that its a compilation of all those factors which hungry players are searching, digging, and grinding for over years. Not only a payday, either, but consistent paydays.

As for the larger game players, I see where all the stories of people that have won after years of playing can be inspirational. Compiled with commercials of money flying everywhere and talking about hundreds of millions to win will move people to spend their money every time. However, that can also be very deceiving because not all players will 'finally' win big on any large game. Then, there's the 'fixed numbers' dilemma where regular players have birthdays, license plates, special event dates, and you name it forcing them to play all the time for fear of losing on that one time they decide not to play. This goes on for years and there's actually an article about a lady from Virginia winning after she almost decided not to play her life long special numbers. She actually won twice I believe! There are many things that keep different players 'on their lottery grind' over the years...and I'm so glad I never gave up on what I knew was possible.

Small games, frequent wins, and regular payouts 'cause.....

There are seven days in the week...'Someday' isn't one of them.

What keeps us going is knowing that the game can be beaten. Not necessarily every day but often enough to win several times a week. All you need to do is pick one digit correctly.

Been saying this, along with you, for years now. There's a mathematical solution for designing a system which allows a player to remain ahead without the need to win every time they play...cause that ain't gonna happen. It's all in the numbers!

I have been playing powerball and oregon megabucks for 22 years and mega millions since the crossover in 2010. I myself buy maybe one or two tickets usually so it is like a hobby of mine to buy tickets. I am happy to win small prizes when they come because I usually lose but I like to chase the jackpots with my deposable income after I pay everyone of my bills that come around every month. I think it is fun to see if I can win a prize but usually I do not and again I only play QP's.-weshar75

We certainly have more game choices today, but the odds of winning some of the games are so bad, IMO it's not worth playing them every drawing. As a rule of thumb, I only play PB and/or MM with their jackpot reach $400 million so those fires went out for me a long time ago. When I lived in Ohio, made some nice hits playing Ohio Lotto games and Rolling Cash 5, but since the KY Lottery doesn't offer those type games, most of my lottery play here is pick-4 and Keno.

They say "it only takes one ticket" but out of the billion tickets sold each year only a handful win jackpots. Do you think your fire will still be burning in 20 years?

my method is to spend as little as possible would be ?$8 a week on pb and mega millions that way im not losing that much and more bearable over the years

for now since i started sytems and some software...its pretty interesting for me as i learn new methods i have won a handful of pick 3s straight which has kept my interest int hat but i have always been a player of the bigger games iguess its the dream of financial freedom one day that keeps me looking at the numbers

Spending money on the lottery adds up quick, doesn’t it. I spent 30 bucks on the powerball drawing last night. Getting back 8 bucks. A net los of 22. I added up all my losing tickets since December...1000 bucks...cashed in 160 dollars in winners I’ve had for several weeks..Still down 900.

People who keep playing for so long do it for two main reasons imo.

1) Desperation

This reason is different for all players and their particular life experiences. Illness, unhappiness, confusion, broken heart... who knows for sure. Lottery can break many people and banks I am sure. Its not the playing so much that is important, but the workout. My workout is intense and precise. Only the doubting of Thomas can undo this reality.

2) Success

If you are desperate but you cant win, then Abandon hope all ye who enter here... But if you get a couple of nice wins then you can play without risk for some time. (perhaps three months in some states)

I almost quit one time, but a (NP), neighboring pair, i was chasing (illogically) for six months finally hit. It was a mixture of smart luck and dumb luck.

I was about to quit.

During workouts, t o keep the fire burning I would listen to music like Matrix Soundtrack, or Hans Zimmer.

But I am a conservative bettor. I know that at 3 dollars a day I can play for 60 days before I start feeling the hurt. 3*60=$180 Thats two months of trying.

A lot of JP winners win by wheeling. But more numbers equal less precision.

That is the danger of wheeling. Large wheels with more numbers is not necessarily smarter IMHO. Filtering by skips is wiser. I filter by skips by default. But the waiting game is hard for desperate people; and Sidereal Timing is often unpredictable in a dual foci ellipse.

If you can align your added numbers by filter of skips then I am sure you can do well.

But filtering by skips is hard. The DISCIPLINE needed is insane.

P.S.

I have not been playing for 20 years.

It took me 5 years to miss my first JP.

It took me 8 years to miss my second JP.

It took me 15 years to miss my third JP.

The first JP is verified. Meaning I had the line, with conservative spending.

The next two JP are not verified, as I only had the Power Number, and all the remaining numbers.

I am not sure if God wants me to play anymore. I know He wants me to do something else, but I am addicted to the lottery workout process and ability to see the future numbers.

I guess that the DEVIL inside rebelling.
