hello just=Getting one digit right (in this case the first digit) is always easier than getting the entire pick3 right. Getting the pair in the 2nd and 3rd position right will give an indication of who the 1st digit will be.

Programming would be necessary, this is not stuff for a spreadsheet. Python is easy, I just tried it 2 months ago for a wheel evaluator and I like it.

The game should be approached using logic and ,thus, there should be a logical basis for what you're doing. Is there a logical basis for choosing the latest 20, 25, or 30 draws or for determining how many draws to consider? If so, what is the number of draws based on?

There is ,indeed, a way to predict when to expect doubles to start showing with high reliability which I know exactly how to do. Although, the app I'm using does this for targeting singles rather than doubles. Another app similar to this would need to be developed for targeting doubles. But, this involves sequences and patterns that naturally arise in the game that dr san here doesn't believe in falsely claiming that it is just apophenia which doesn't apply. Patterns can provide a logical basis for knowing what to play and when to play.

I'm not sure what you mean about backtrack performance stats that keep winning because ,normally, you would be losing significantly more often then you would be winning which brings up a crucial question. You may have a couple of back to back wins only to thereafter have many back to back losses that could wipe you out and then what do you do? I agree that certain stats may require long term data and ,also, that short term results can be compared against long term stats to see where you currently stand. This is exactly what I do.

I should have been clearer on this.
I always look at Pick 3 from digital point of view: take combos drawn, split into digits, analyze digits, combine digits (based on statistics) back into combos ready for playing. In digital perspective Pick 3 is very fast flowing because as few as 10 draws may put many statistics totally upside down. However, you will not get such a quick effect with combo analysis.

30 draws refers to the number of backtracks. When I was first looking at Pick 3 lotteries my perception was that this number should suffice. However, since then and based on 649 experiences, now I believe that providing backtrack range (say: from 10 to 30 or even more) may be more appropriate. This can be tested to see if there is any benefit in going far back to evaluate selection performance.

For digit analysis (which is a separate issue) different number of draws can be used: my range was between 15 & 50, with a strong preference for smaller numbers.

The defense against long loosing streaks is: play selectively, only, when statistical condition are favorable. Give you an example: the proportion between singles & doubles at any given time.

Statistically, the ratio is 72% singles to 27% doubles. In reality there are significant variations. What if % for doubles falls as low 20% or lower? Do they have a better chance to appear more frequently? Statistically: yes, as in Pick 3 the proportion of singles to doubles quickly tends to equalize to average. Now the question arises: how low doubles have to go to "trigger" such an equalization and to what extent? Definitely worth further statistical exploration.

This may not be the only way of timing doubles. There may be additional factors that apply, although they are not obviously visible. I learned this hard way in 649.

Don't expect to be right all the time. Just be right frequently enough to generate profit. If you already have such methodology congrats, you are on the right track. If not, keep looking, maybe it does exist.

Pick 3 is a Play-For-Profit type of game. If you can't generate profit in a long run - what's the point of playing it? To spend $1000 to win $500 and run victory laps to celebrate your lost $500? I don't see this sensible.

It is definitely possible to generate a reliable profit playing the Pick 3 overall and it is also possible to win more frequently which is why I specified that normally this doesn't occur. You can actually even win more often than you lose by using methodology that involves being extremely selective for when you play in order to increase your win frequency. Such methodology does exist.

Unfortunately, I do not think your knowledge of and experiences with the Canada 649 can be applied to the Pick 3 just like my knowledge of and experiences with the Pick 3 cannot be applied to your game. It just doesn't make sense to do so. The two types of games are completely different animals and each type of game would need to addressed in its own way.

It is important to ask why this or why that because there would need to be a logical basis for the methodology being used with the Pick 3 game in order for the person using such methodology to be successful. Sometimes it's extremely difficult if not practically impossible to get people to disregard the smoke and mirrors. Instead, they seem to enjoy the ride down the proverbial Garden Path....... helpless to extricate themselves from being totally deceived by known forces in their midst who would argue that they have come here for the sole purpose of helping people. These forces would also argue that they have a winning MIRACLE system; that is, until asked to post numbers before the drawing !
