...and I'll tell you why.
I have been studying the numbers and doing a lot of pencil and paper work in addition to analysing the LottoPro charts.
On 6/6 I was a little deflated as somebody had won the $216,327 jackpot the night before, and the pot was back down to a mere $50,000. I had invested $20 chasing the jackpot.
I was also in a pissy mood because I had some disappointing news that day.
Anyway, I decided to play just $5 worth and not to study that much over it, I just more or less picked my numbers by free wheeling it.
My last words out the door were "Maybe I'll win some money and feel better."
Well, I played 19 unique numbers on 5 tickets...actually had 4 numbers right...but only 3 on one ticket.
I'm not a mathematician or statistician, but somehow 4/5 out of 19, out of 39, seems pretty good to me. (I would never wheel 19 numbers...too expensive.)
And that's one reason why I feel so proud of a $15 win. The other reason is that I have had a long held belief that I'm never "lucky" when I'm in a bad mood.
Seems like the work I have done is paying off.
I do fully expect to win one of the Big ($200,000 to $350,000) Fantasy Five jackpots.
Thanks for listening,
Ellie
P.S. More on the "Luck vs. bad mood" fallacy. Yesterday I went to the local OTB for the Belmont Stakes...again I was in a bad mood. Played my lucky numbers 5 & 1 in all the races, hit one exacta for $95, and then in the last Bay Meadows race I didn't like the 5-1 payout so I played two longshots, 4 & 9, and hit another exacta for $128. Seems good to me!
