  I usually pick fresh numbers for each game. I play 4 games twice a week. Usually Five bucks a game. (PowerBall, Mega Millions, MD Lotto, PA Super Six*) I combine my own picks and quick picks for each game.
  
  
  
  Sometimes I get lazy and play the same numbers again. Or sometimes I just have a good feeling about the numbers I already have. I always toss the old cards when I have filled out new ones.
  
  
  
  Often I play the same set of numbers in all four games.

  One drawing, that's it. After that, the history changes and so does the next pick...

  I know that it's been debated to death that past history has nothing to do with future draws... but so what :-)

  I play one, sometimes 2 tickets per powerball draw and have better results using statistics based on past draws than anything else I have tried so far... getting closer but no big win yet. (it's alot cheaper than those "filtered" wheels I used to use)

  Hi CashO....of course your two automatic random pics will change each purchase, but you can pick one line outta the three and play that over and over.
  
  
  
  Just checked mine for 6/13 and had every number at least once on a $5.00 ticket (15 lines). No more than two correct on anyone line though.

  Shoulda put that $5 on Mega Millions. Even if you got a three-number game, you might have gotten back just $1.50.

    I have 2 sets i bn playn on different states Lottos since 87...PLUS alot of sets i change every 4th draw.

  as long as one chooses annuity, it really doesn't matter.

  any thoughts on banning lump sum payments?

  In very few lotteries does a combination repeat, so when most numbers win, they have been a loser up to then and will be mostly a loser there after. A number that has been a loser during the whole life of the lottery, will be the next winner, so you really can't set a time limit on any number until it wins and then it might be one of those really rare repeaters.

  your right on that...I tracked the super lotto going back 10 years and on only 5 occasions,,,,, did 5 out of the 6 numbers that were drawn matched a previous drawing. none matched 6 out of 6

  I have 40 sets of numbers I track on my computer....i track how many times they match 1,2,3,4,5 numbers,,,then i rank them and play the top 10 to 15 sets.

  Powerball has 104 drawings a year, theoretically it would take over 1 million years to run through all the number set combinations. Your favorite birthday combination may never come up. Which means there is no difference between choosing different combo's and staying with the same number sets.

  Maybe another poll could be for whether someone uses "quick-pick" numbers and play them in consecutive drawings.
