Everettt,
This lottery is the PT (jogo do bicho - meaning The animals game because every 4 numbers form 1 group - or an animal) and it is drawn in Rio de Janeiro everyday at 14:00 hrs. and valid for all Brazil.
At the site below you can have a look at what each group means - an animal for each group. ( Example: Group 1= Ostrich; Group 24=Deer, etc.) The name was given by the founder of the lottery in the last Century and it was an attractio for the Rio de Janeiro Zoo where the first drawings took place.
It became a very popular game throughout Brazil. Mainly played by the poor who usually 'dreamt' with a given animal and would 'place their faith' in the animal as it is said when you play the game.
You can get results from this site (only the last 30 days - daily updated) from
www.ojogodobicho.com
When inside the site, click in 'Deu No Poste'. That will give you the last day's results. In case you want another day there's a combobox with the days for you to choose, just below the yellow results.
In case you need more results I may have them for 3-4 years back, if I can recall it right. It is in an Excel spreadsheet.
If you are interested, you can play it like in the Pick 3 or 4 lotteries.
As I have said before, there are 5 draws at the same time for Prizes 1 through 5.

Triple Tens in any of 5 prizes - Payout 3000 times your wager
The payouts may vary from state to state or city to city, depending on what is called the 'banker' of the game where you play.
Unfortunately it is not 'legal', meaning it is not government official but it has been played for about a 100 years already. Occasionaly the police will arrest some 'bankers' for some time but not the players.
Of course, it is 'tax-free' since it is not official.
Well, that's about it.
