  Yes, Virginia, there was a Minnesota winner (and winner takes all)!  I'm sure the posters on this site are happy for him/her.  However, we don't hear that much praise about $100,000 winners, and since the multiplier was 5 -- and if players played powerplay -- $500,000 isn't a bad payday, either (before taxes). 

  Sure, we all become excited about a $100 million dollars winner or higher amounts (and I'm one of them), but anything is better than nothing.  One of the posters said: "I'd be happy with $10 million."  I'll take it one step further: "I'll be happy with $100,000 + the multiplier because I always play powerplay."
