  As promised earlier, I have changed a few things:

  • 
    
  • There is a new menu system, which replaces the old blue bar menu.  You'll find almost all the features of the site accessible from the new menu, which is a nice improvement.  Previously, some features were "buried" under other screens or features, so some members were not even aware of their existence.  Also, you can go directly to features with one click, rather than several.  (For example, check out how easy it is to see lottery results for your state.)
    
  • The new menu bar now moves with the screen as you scroll, so all commands are always available on the screen.
    
  • I have added SSL technology for the login page, so you can be sure that you have a completely secure login.  This is a very rare and unique feature on community forum anywhere on the Internet.  It is the same technology that makes your credit card transactions secure on a shopping cart page.
    
  • I fixed a bug which affected receiving a notification e-mail vs. seeing a popup on the screen when you receive a new private message.  Previously, when you changed one setting, it would actually change both settings.  Now, they are correctly controllable independently.
    
  • I think there's some other things that I changed, but I just can't rememeber!

  As always, when I make a change there are some people who will hate the change.  That's OK, and it's fine if you want to tell me so.  I'll try my best to explain why the change is important, and why I think you'll like it over time.

  Oh, I remembered the other change.  You'll notice that I've moved some commands around on the blue bar.  Notably, you now need to go to the Forums drop-down for the Active Topics command, and Search is available on both the Forums menu and the Resources menu.

  i like the changes put forth,especially the secure login.it just keeps getting better.  when does the competition begin?

  todd i don't know what your doing but whatever it is it just keeps getting better and better,very satisfying site!

  I like everything except the blue bar following me down the page, it is too much like the ads that follow you around on free sites, disconcerting and often blocking what I was looking at.  While making predictions it was blocking the name of the game, I had to keep repositioning the page.
  
  If there were a customizable MyLotteryPost page, I would lock it in place where it used to be.

  That's just my opinion, who knows I could be right!

  Ok, been working my way through the forums and sometimes the blue bar saves me a scroll, would be nice if the end of the bar had a click to lock it or free it to roam.
  
  Page loads seem slower, could be my imagination. The new v.92 modem is running in the 50's unlike the old v.90 that never got above 49 yet when I scroll before the page is finished loading I get what looks like barcode down the page.  Don't worry about it if it's just me.

  I like the changes very much, now if the P.M.s were also completely private and secure then it would be even very much better if such thing is possible at all.

  Well I like the menu bar following me. I used to dislike having to scroll up every time I wanted to switch to another forum or whatever. It just takes a bit of getting used to it I think....

  Thanks all for the feedback.  Keep them coming, if you have more to say.

  I think I'll put an option in the Control Panel to allow you to turn off the follow-scrolling bar.  The default behavior is that it will follow you as you scroll, and the option will let you turn this behavior off.
