Purrrrrrple!!!!
You go out into the world, and you are who you choose to be - and some people will like it, and others won't.
That's just the way it is.
Most people are searching for happiness outside of themselves. That's a fundamental mistake.
Happiness is something you are , and it comes from the way you think.
In any challenging situation, ask yourself this:
Am I part of the problem or part of the solution?
If you refuse to change your job (if you don't like it), the only sensible thing you can do is practice loving it every day.
Chasing success is like trying to squeeze a handful of water. The tighter you sueeze, the less water you get.
When you chase it, your life becomes the chase, and you become a victim of always wanting more.
The key to happiness is realizing that it's not what happens to you that matters, it's how you choose to respond.
It was a hungry pussycat, upon Thanksgiving morn,
And she watched a thankful little mouse,
that ate an ear of corn.
"If I ate that thankful little mouse, how thankful he should be,
When he has made a meal himself, to make a meal for me!
"Then with his thanks for having fed, and his thanks for feeding me,
With all his thankfulness inside, how thankful I shall be!"
Thus mussed the hungry pussy cat, upon Thanksgiving Day;
But the little mouse had overheard and declined (with thanks) to stay.
Curb your excesses. Everything in moderation.
Be generous; share your abundance with others.
Face your fears. they will disappear when you confront them
You're not what you have and you're not what you do; you're an infinite, divine being disguised as a successful person who has accumulated a certain amount of stuff.
The stuff is not you. For that reason, you must avoid being attached to it in any way.
Radiate an energy of serenity and peace so that you have an uplifting effect on those you come into contact with.
Your presence will make others feel calm and assured.
Being receptive means allowing your "senior partner" to handle your life for you.
By being peaceful, quiet, and receptive, you pattern yourself in the image of God, and you regain the power of your Source.
