Even Odd NeighborNumbers List with only BoxedNumbers

What are Neighbor Numbers?

Digits - Neighbor
0,1         0
2,3         1
4,5         2
6,7         3
8,9         4

Neighbor Number Excel Formula?
=INT(Digit*.5)  - for example if your first position digit is in cell a1 is 8 and wanted to enter this formula in cell e1 =INT(a1*.5) this would give you the "Neighbor Digit" of 4 (see chart above)

When you are looking at a EvenOddNeighborNumbers List with only BoxedNumbers you see that there really three types of EvenOddNeighborNumbers:
1. with 4 BoxedNumbers,
2. with 6 BoxedNumbers, and
3. with 8 BoxedNumbers.

This gives you a much better tracking system for
Boxed numbers than Vtracs provides.

For example:

if in cells a1, b1, c1

In cell d1 enter the following formula:

=SUMPRODUCT(IF(COUNTIF(A1:C1,{0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}) <COUNTIF(A2:C2,{0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}),COUNTIF(A1:C1,{0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}),COUNTIF(A2:C2,{0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9})))

Then press the following keys at the same time (Control - Shift - Enter) on your keyboard.  You should see { } at the beginning and end of the formula.

1. Open up a new workbook.
2. Get into VBA (Press Alt+F11)
3. Insert a new module (Insert > Module)
4. Copy and Paste the Excel user defined function examples -
5. Get out of VBA (Press Alt+Q)
6. Use the functions (They will appear in the Paste Function dialog box, Shift+F3, under the "User Defined" category)

This is a handy formla for creating a boxed pair

For example:

In cell P21 you have the pair 76 and you wanted the boxed pair 67 in cell Q21 below is the formula.

 

=CONCATENATE((MIN(LEFT(P21),RIGHT(P21))),,(MAX(LEFT(P21),RIGHT(P21))))

Creating Boxed Numbers from inividual cells:

Believe it or not I have my old DOS Version 6.10 of LottoPro by MicroMedia Cascade Sierra.

Nice thing about it is that it still works on Windows Vista.

I spent hours on this DOS program trying to beat the Pennsylvania Pick 3 game.

I lost all my notes on how I set the program up.

Trying to recall what I did back in 1989 through 1997.  Coming back to me gradually.

I won straight bets with regularity using a system of past draws.

Past draws were 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60.

Each set of draws that the program calculates will produce "stacks" reports.

1. Hot 1

2. Hot 2

3. Hot 3

4. Points

5. S.D. (Standard Deviation)

6. Mean

7. Hits

8. Since

So I would have a total of 42 pick 3 combinations.  I would NOT play these combinations but see how many times each digit occured in each positions 1 through 3.

The I would wheel the highest 2 to 3 numbers in each position.

So I would end up with 24 to 27 combinations.

Again, I would not play these.  I would look at previous days combos and look for re-occuring combinations and play those.

I though it would be interesting to post the Pick 3 combos for Pennsylvania Evening draws for Saturday, July 18, 2008.

Sometimes a straight combination will repeat even though it was drawn in the last few drawings.

Pick 4 Digit Combo to VTRAC Combo

In cell A1 enter your Pick 4 Digit Combo

Example: 0012

Make sure you format the cell (Right Click cell A1> Select Format Cells > Click Custom in Category List > Enter 4 zeroes in the Type Box > Click OK

In cell B1 copy and paste this formula:

=SUMPRODUCT((MOD(MID(TEXT(A1,"0000"),ROW($1:$4),1),5)+1)*(10^(4-ROW($1:$4))))

The Pick 4 VTRAC Combo will now be in cell B1.
