mega millions ticket

Published:

I have been thinking about buying all the mega balls on three tickets and megaplying it for $30 all june long to see if I can hit something good like $5,000 or the million.  I would like to hear from lottery post members and get your views on it before I try it because it is almost $300 every month to try it out.  But I heard of other posters trying it and I wonder what the success rate is.  I know I will always get the mega ball right so depending upon the megaplier and the numbers in the first five that I get I might be only doing it as an experiment in june only if it is not a success.  I have been thinking about this since the first of this year but have not gotten enough courage to try it because I usually just buy $2 tickets for mega millions and $3 tickets for powerball.  But now that mega is climbing I am wondering if it might be worth my wild to try and see if I can get lucky and hit something major.  Please leave a post as to what you think about spending $300 in june for megapliered tickets at $30 a draw for the whole month of june at the bottom.  Thank you!-weshar75

I too have thought about this for a few months. What stops me is I run a work pool in which I usually buy MM tickets. There are 11 of us in the pool. Usually win a buck or 2 which I always put back in the next draw, buying 12 or 13 tics. Sometimes I play QP's with all different megaball numbers, sometimes I play as many numbers as I can.
I also have a couple sets of numbers, all 75 on 15 lines that I keep and check after every draw. I rarely have more than 2 numbers on one line after each draw. I don't play these, just have them on paper to see how they do. Obviously, playing all 75 numbers and 15 mega numbers gives you a better chance of winning a jackpot, and you always win at least a dollar. My issue is I like to play all the jackpot games and I'm not willing to give them up to play that much on MM. My test numbers and experience with the work pool show me that I might have a better chance of winning a jackpot playing several games rather than just one game.

I hear what you are saying RCB! I think that I might just play all the mega balls all 15 of them with QPing the first five for $15. Then play $10 on powerball for the whole month to get two games out of the $300. Rather than just one game for $300.-weshar75
