Emily, that's comforting to read. Sometimes I get down & out because I never succeeded in a profession that made much of a mark on the world. I got very lost in my own problems, but I always wanted to live a purposeful life by counseling children, curing diseases or saving wildlife. When I see the world mourning for a person like Steve Irwn who was far from a saint, but made a huge, indelible mark on the plant, I wonder if I can do anything to make my mark before I pass. One thing I know is that I am a good person with a kind heart, and I do my best to be true. So maybe my mark isn't so tiny after all.

I should stop posting until I can figure out why I am making so many mistakes typing. I typed plant when I meant planet. Irwn when I meant Irwin. I made lots of errors on Todd's blog...not that anyone cares a lot, but then the meaning changes and it becomes "huh? whadya say?" LOL
