I know what you mean. I've worked in some very unsupportive environments. When I worked in the car business for a short time, the salesmen would actually make me cry. I know I'm not stupid but it really got to me. The sad thing is that I was so nice to everyone. In this world, nice doesn't make it.

Speaking of that job, there was a man who was always number 1 in sales and made a 6-figure income (this was 10 years ago too) because he didn't pay any attention to what the other people were saying about him. He had complete control of every situation and was a pretty nice guy too. I think of him once in a while because he came here from Turkey and is Muslim and nobody can ever call this person a bad American because he stands for what we are all about...making something of yourself with hard work in a free society.
