MSNBC commentator Joy Reid is a piece of work, shouting down, patronizing, interrupting, lecturing, admonishing, and/or cutting off the mic on guests who say things she disapproves of. She is insufferable. (here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here).

This week-end she outdid herself when, in reference to Donald Trump's locker room banter from years ago, she stated the following (while interviewing Jerry Springer of all people):

...never in my life, and I've been following politics since I was a nerdy teenager, did I ever think we'd be talking about groping, forced kissing, vulgarity and the potential president of the United States in the same sentence.

Was she alive in the 1990's? Does she recognize the name Monica Lewinsky? Is there any mental recall of Bill Clinton's countless sexual exploits that ranged from groping to rape and everything in between?

And speaking of in between, does she have any recollection of the famous "waitress sandwich" courtesy of Ted Kennedy and his friend Chris Dodd, as recounted at GQ (among many sickening, drunken, rude, obscene sexual exploits that Kennedy heaped upon victims):

...the six-foot-two, 225-plus-pound Kennedy grabs the five-foot-three, 103-pound waitress and throws her on the table. She lands on her back, scattering crystal, plates and cutlery and the lit candles. Several glasses and a crystal candlestick are broken. Kennedy then picks her up from the table and throws her on Dodd, who is sprawled in a chair. With Gaviglio on Dodd's lap, Kennedy jumps on top and begins rubbing his genital area against hers, supporting his weight on the arms of the chair....

Hey, Joy. Anything coming back to you yet? What about when the disgusting event noted above was excused as boyish shenanigans?

No? Still nothing?

How about when Senator Bob Packwood resigned after allegedly forcing himself on seventeen women, most of whom were employees?

Joy, listen. You're 48 years old. What about Congressman Charlie Wilson's reputation for hiring only good looking women as staffers, stating "you can teach 'em to type, but you can't teach 'em to grow tits."

No dice? Really? Surely your amnesia can't be so profound that these, and countless more examples of inappropriate-at-best-and-downright-criminal-at-worst behaviors of those in the highest echelon of power escape your memory. (Are you having black outs or is it more like HRC-inspired short-circuiting?)

And as long as we're speaking of power brokers at the top of the food chain, do you recall President Obama (that's our current president, Joy) inviting rappers to the White House who were convicted felons, people accused of kidnapping and assault, and "artists" who promote the murder of white police officers and judges, not to mention references to females that are vulgar, to say the least (here, here, here, here, and here). (Joy, don't read rap lyrics written by any of these guys because, given the effect that Trump's handful of words has had on you, I fear you will be irreparably traumatized.)

If, dear Joy, you lack recall of these things, I would urge you to seek medical attention. Immediately. Until then, please stop serving up your selective faux outrage about Donald Trump's locker room comments. You are a pathetic fool.
