I’m sorry that I am getting this newsletter out so late.  I was my intention to get it out later.  I found out on the 6th we had won some money in Hot Lotto and I decided to fund the $6.00 so this group could have more tickets.

I purchased your Cash Five ticket yesterday, on they way home from work.  It was my intent to send out this newsletter last night, before the Cash Five drawing, Power Ball, or Hot Lotto.  You know what they say:  “The road to hell is pave with good intentions.”

Cash Five

Thanks to your $6.00 win in Hot Lotto, you now have one Cash Five ticket until Friday, December 15th, 2006.

I was just sick; I had spent $20.00 of my own money in this game for one draw.  (I never do that, it’s kind of like doing scratch offs.)

Oh well, this game moves up quickly, so maybe next time.  We ticket until Christmas.

The next Jack Pot is worth $200,000.00 for Monday December 11th, 2006.

Lotto Texas

We won nothing in this game.  (My Lotto Texas Lotto Pool won nothing either.)  The good news is that no one won the Jack Pot.

16 divided by $13,197,360 = $824,835.00 for each of us.  This is before any attorney fee’s, taxes or tithes.

Hot Lotto

Okay, this newsletter took the longest to write, because finding a web site to check your numbers on is hard.  Hot Lotto is only played in the following states: District of Columbia, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, or West Virginia.

The Web Site for District of Columbia will tell you if you have any numbers, but do not tell you if how much you win.  In Kansas I couldn’t even find a location to check your numbers.

I liked Iowa’s web site: www.ialottery.com, but it’s a little tricky getting to the place where you can check your numbers.

The tickets are good for 15 draws.

Here are you numbers:

I funded this $6.00 today, so I could buy this group more tickets.

The next drawing for this game is on Saturday December 9th, 2006.  The new Jack Pot is now worth $15,680.000.00.  The Cash Option is worth $9,530,000.00.

With 16 of us playing we are looking at $595,625.00.  You know this is before any attorney’s fees, taxes or tithes.

I have not checked tickets for last night’s drawing.

Power Ball

Minnesota Man Claims $47 Million Jackpot

Michael Hawes
For more than a month, an accountant from Lakeville was unknowingly carrying a Powerball jackpot ticket worth more than $47 million in his wallet. Michael Hawes said that he “had no idea” that one of the two winning jackpot tickets for the Nov. 1, 2006 drawing was purchased in Minnesota.

On December 4 Hawes returned to the store to purchase pop, but stopped at the customer service desk to purchase a new ticket. Hawes asked the service counter clerk to scan the tickets that he had in his wallet. When the winning ticket was scanned, it caused a message to print that indicated that the ticket must be validated at the Lottery’s headquarters. The store employee looked at the November 1 winning numbers and realized that they matched the numbers on Hawes’ ticket. “He said, ‘Those are your numbers!’” Hawes recalled. Hawes said that he left the grocery cart where it was and left the store with the ticket. “I was shaking,” said Hawes.

Hawes purchased the winning ticket at Cub Foods in Bloomington. The retailer will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling a winning Powerball jackpot ticket. The winning ticket was an 8-draw ticket, valid for the Powerball drawings from Nov. 1, 2006 – Nov. 25, 2006.

I was happy to read that a multi-draw ticket won, because all we have are multi-draw tickets.

We have the most numbers is this game, and no wins.  It’s strange that we only have two numbers in Hot Lotto, but have won twice.

The New Jack Pot for Saturday, December 9th, 2006 is worth $25 Million, the Cash Option is worth $12,300,000.00.

There are 16 of us playing in this game, so that means each of us would get $768,750.00.  This is before any attorney fee’s, taxes or tithes.

I have not checked tickets for last night’s drawing.

Other Information

Okay, I still have not spent the November dues, because I have two people not pay. So this is what I’m going to do.

On January 1st, 2006, I will launch a new edition of PowerBall.  If you want to be in Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool Game XI, you will need to have paid your November and December dues by the 31st of December.  If not, you will be leaving this club.

I have tried to find people were Die Hard Players and could pay the $10.00 per month by the end of each month.  And for a long time, I was able to do that.

People ask me to join this game all the time.  I explained the rules carefully and discourage people from playing.  (If you play in Mega Millions and only play every other game, you should not be in this game.)

My problem is that I have $140.00 in this games bank to spend on more tickets, but I can’t because 2 people never paid their November dues.  This money could be spending on Cash Five, Texas Two-Step, or Lotto Texas tickets.  It made me sick to see someone in Denton walk away with $1.15 Million and we only had one ticket.  Yet, I had $140.00 waiting to be spent.

Now I have more out of state/out of town people playing with me than ever before.  All of them seem to be able to send me checks weeks or months in advance.  If I only have those people playing I would never be carrying around dues unspent, we would  have more tickets.

So this is my decision, I will take all the money from November and December and buy tickets for Die Hard Game XII.    If I don’t have your money by the due date you will NOT be in the next game.

Now, if you have paid for Nov dues, I can either refund you your money or can put you in the Next Mega Game.  Or you could join my Lotto Texas Pool - I will let you decide once I start Game XII.

Your $10.00 is due on or before Sunday December 31st, 2006

Kids in Church

Six-year-old Angie and her four-year-old brother Joel were sitting together in church. Joel giggled, sang, and talked out loud. Finally, his big sister had enough of his antics.

"You're not supposed to talk out loud in church."

"Why? Who's going to stop me?" Joel asked.

Angie pointed to the back of the church and said, "See those two men standing by the door? They're hushers."
