I applaud Kellogg for doing the right thing. It is very obvious to people of color what the cartoon character is depicting. All the characters are the same color and are playing, but the one brown one. To make it more noticeable they gave him a blue hat, big round eyes, blue shirt and blue shoes with a mp3 and earphones while he is buffing the floor. In other words, people of color can only be a janitor. This is a subliminal message that is being sent to little children and its wrong. Prejudice is a learned behavior.

Yes, prejudice is a learned behavior, but not in all cases. When people are exposed to the worst of a race or culture, the many cowards, perpetual victims and racists, then it's not unexpected.

The reason there is a problem with racism is because of malcontent trolls like the above. I am complimenting Kellogg for correcting their artwork, while the house troll is being his usual bigoted self. Once notified that the artwork was sending out the wrong message, they immediately corrected the problem. One has to respect a company that's main concern is a satisfied customer.

Speedy, to read is one thing and to 'interpret' is altogether different...which is what the problem is with your friends. Let's flip the script and paint the same picture while using a different brush and colors...and the basis is the current opioid crisis. All the characters in that illustration are now blue, including the two props standing in the doorway which just happen to be HUMANS and DRESSED NICELY...with both eyeglasses AND SUNGLASSES. They look to be relaxed. There is no janitor but, there's one more human in the room which is all WHITE with long stringy blonde hair, is dressed decently, has the 'shakes', their eyes are bulging widely, it's pockets are inside out, and has a Satan worshipper tattoo. You can bet your @ss that white people would surely also call out Kellogg's even though that white human could also be a very light complexioned-Hispanic with dyed hair or otherwise.
